Sounds like the liberal answer to gun crimes.
Actually, the employers are breaking the laws. If they knowingly hire illegal aliens "off the books" they're committing both tax and employment fraud. If they knowingly hire an illegal alien using a SS number, they're participating in both fraud and identity theft.

We'll slap a uniform on'em, give them $100, and send them to Iraq. We'll call it "Surge II".
Recall that I prefaced my comment with "...they will never enter this country again." We all know that the Federal Gov't has been and is thumbing their collective noses at this particular law.
Thanks to them we cannot guarantee deported criminals won't sneak in again. If the law were enforced, they wouldn't, and we wouldn't be talking about punishing their employers or being bilked by illegals who are granted health care, education, and any other freebie they can't afford. To add insult to injury, our tax dollars cover the costs of prisoners, including those should never be here in the first place.
While I agree with you, I'd suggest that the federal government is the FIRST law-breaker. Our elected representatives in the government, from Bush on down, who support amnesty (no, it really isn't amnesty)---they are the front-line culprits who need to be stopped. They created the problem; we have the right to demand they fix it.
Whew! Someone's more hard-hearted than I am! Guess it's okay to step on ants again.
So how does that change the wisdom of my comment?

I want a nice big wall.

Still better than a free bus ride home.
Fill containers with birdseed for 5 days, in your back yard, soon you will have all kinds of birds will come to your back yard, hundreds of them. Now take away the birdseed and see how many birds will come to your back yard.
