US opens door to millions of Muslims

The proposed immigration deal will throw open our doors to increased immigration from Muslim lands, not just Mexico. From the US State Department website: "The fourth and most recent wave of Muslim immigration (into the US) has come after 1965, the year President Lyndon Johnson sponsored an immigration bill that repealed the longstanding system of quotas by national origin. Under the new system, preferences went to relatives of U.S. residents and those with special occupational skills needed in the United States. The new law was a signal act in American history, making it possible for the first time since the early part of the 20th century for someone to enter the country regardless of his or her national origin. After 1965, immigration from Western Europe began to decline significantly, with a corresponding growth in the numbers of persons arriving from the Middle East and Asia. In this era more than half of the immigrants to America from these regions have been Muslim." (italics added)

And the reason is an old one: Power lust.

I didn't know you were dyslexic. Did you mean this: Power slut? Just saying...Blackbird.

Case in point, Bush’s #1 advisor on immigration, GROVER NORQUIST, head of the islamic institute, married a muslim Palestinean (who works for Bush), whose brother is in charge of the $ at homeland security....Nice tidy little mess, eh?

None dare call it incestuous, eh?

Grover Norquist may very well have converted to Islam to marry the Palestinian hottie.

He has remained pretty silent about his subsequent faith (formerly Protestant Christian) since...note these links from highly reputable and regarded folks, such as Daniel Pipes (jihadism expert):

Is Grover Norquist an Islamist?

or Frank Gaffney's (National Security expert, Former Deputy Sec DOD) highly explosive and dead-on claims in

A Troubling Influence

The fact that nothing seems to have been done about Grover Norquist and his malign influence in the party is extremely alarming. Bill Bennet and Laura Ingraham have also been ringing the alarm bells about Norquist. As has Savage, although he is of course routinely disregarded. But Pipes and Gaffney are not so easily dismissed. And based on the "cone of silence" from this Administration on their very pointed questions of Norquists' influence...one can only assume the worst.

They know he's a rotten apple, and they don't appear to care.

I don’t think it’s fair to social conservatives to lump Norquist in with them. He belongs to the Islamics he’s chosen to give his support to. My question is why do any Americans support or work with Grover Norquist?

Seriously, he has influence and those that align themselves with him are summed up best in his own words.

"I started out as a right-winger, and when I retire I want to be a squishy middle-of-the-roader," he jokes, chortling at the thought. Grover Norquist

“It was great,” recalled Norquist, who is close to House Speaker Newt Gingrich. “We had our guys walking around with tattoos on their arms. It drove Simpson nuts because the implication was he’s a Nazi.”

I posted the following piece here on Free Republic this morning only to have a moderator pull it within a minute. When I asked the webmaster why, I don’t even get a reply.

I share your frustration over the shamnesty, a reward my government just offered to criminals, but I think I understand why your post "Is now the time to impeach Bush?" might have been pulled.

As a Canadian who intends on immigrating to the United States legally in a few years

It's one thing for Americans to attack our President. It's quite another for a foreigner to do it, even if they are attacking for the same reasons.

Once you come here, then you can criticize our President. Until then, no foreigner has the right to do so, no matter how much I might agree with you.
