Former US President Jimmy Carter has criticised outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair for his "blind" support of the war in Iraq.
Mr Carter told the BBC Mr Blair's backing for US President George W Bush had been "apparently subservient".
He said the UK's "almost undeviating" support for "the ill-advised policies of President Bush in Iraq have been a major tragedy for the world".

“The man is shameless and inane”.
Agree. But, let him rant. The more he talks, the less credible he becomes.
To: snoringbear
Maybe not.
There is a another generation of Americans growing up who don't remember Carter's presidency.

You are so right about that, considering the current state of our liberal run educational system starting at the kindergarden level.

Carter and Clinton have both broken one of the most sacred rules of being presidents of the United States.
You never, EVER, as a former president, publically bad mouth the acting president.
Goes to show how classless and total embarrassments they are to this country and what it stands for.

He seemed to be such a clueless and harmless peanut when he was elected.
Who would have ever guessed he harbored such hatred for America in his thin soul.
We might as well have elected Marx.

Jimmy STP Carter must be channeling Professor Irwin Corey, 'The World's Foremost Authority', the goofy sumb!tch has to comment on damn near everything that happens!
For the love of GAWD, Jimmah, just STFU!
We don't CARE what you have to say about it!

For those of you who think that Romney’s Mormon faith would keep you from voting for him, these two lower than whale poop ex ‘s are So. Baptist. That was a major factor for a lot of votes for them.
To: Recon Dad
Well, we sure don’t want Bill to die before elections. You know how the sympathy factor goes.

Dhimmi Carter. Perhaps the most incompetent person to ever hold the office of President (of any country).
To: Coldwater Creek
I didn’t consider who was number 2 and 3, but my #2 would be J Murtha and #3 would be Hillary. Bill can’t run again.

1. Jimmy Carter
2. John Murtha
3. Hillary Clinton
But, his wife IS. Remember the guy that was running for senator from Missouri that was killed in a plane crash?
Hillary can’t run if she’s beyond the pale and Bill can’t run period.

If Jimmy Carter had any balls at all, he would have supported the Shah, his government, and dispatched some folks to disappear or do in, the Ayatollah when he was in residence in France; sparing us of the 400 days of captured Embassy employees, and this Iranian nuke crap now.
Panama Canal would be more secure and in our hands instead of the Chinese.
Sinai would still be in Israel's control and not a staging ground for smuggling weapons into Gaza under the noses of the numbnuts "Observers". Nicaragua would NOT have had a major conflict with thousands of deaths and injuries and now tipping towards Ortega(commies)again.
Zimbabwe would not have some of the worst human rights violations on the Planet, a 3900% inflation rate and starving, and on and on. Can anyone deny conditions were better by a factor of a gazillion when it was Rhodesia.
Carter is a suppurating boil on America’s ass and he has not the grace to acknowledge his failure and just shut the f-ck up. God. I'll be glad to watch his televised funeral and giggle at the bullshit they spread trying to Kosher that dumbassed little pig. Jimmy Carter: The other white meat Democrat.
