If this goes through, then I'm done with the GOP.
It’s 18, with heavy emphasis on 2, 3, 12, 15, and 16. It won’t be the war that will hurt the GOP with its base. Maybe the way the war has not been properly explained often enough to Americans.
But it will be the illegal immigration invasion and the castrati Republicans in power that will do US in as a party. Hillary must be lovin’ it.
All of the above, plus gas prices. Too bad Buchannan got tarred and feathered with lies and innuendo. He’s probably the best bet at this point to turn things around.
and hillary will be ready to pass back the crown to jeb... bush, clinton, bush, clinton, bush’... this is not a good pattern.
I agree that the GOP needs a broad boot to the butt, but I fear that this constant drumbeat of negativity will only lead to what we had in 1992, unless we can rally around a really STRONG candidate who will then carry Congressional candidates along on his coat-tails. The only one I see with the ability to do that is Fred Thompson. I just hope that, by the time he announces, conservatives haven’t worked themselves into such an anti-GOP frenzy that they will be unwilling to give him a chance.
Whatever.
I believe the President had a bit much on his plate at the time. Again, the problem wasn't created since George W. Bush took office, and it won't be resolved before he leaves. It is completely wrong to pin the problem on him, or even this group of GOP lawmakers. Yes, while they were in the majority, they could have done something, but getting rid of the ones who did want to do something about it certainly didn't help matters in any way.
You may have wondered why I Donated so much to Free Republic!!!....Free Republic is the last place I can use my funds to help this nation.Free Republic is the last bastion of hope this nation has as I see it!!!!....Thanks Jim for giving this nation The Free Republic!!!....
All of the above, Jim. But more precisely, the one and a half party system of deals and compromises, and RINOS and DINOS, and no one forced to stand on principle in either party.
I’ll repeat the story of this example that happened while I was visiting a European country last year. Never mind which (it wasn’t France.) A party member, who was a deputy in the parliament, was kicked out of the party for not toeing the line. The party lost a vote in the parliament until the next election, and risked losing a seat in that election. Imagine that happening here.
Coalitions are to be formed within the legislative bodies, not within the political parties. Both of our parties can and will tolerate card carrying Communists and Fascists, as principles don’t matter, as a principle of our, best in all possible worlds, political system.
‘Nuff said!
And where was this voice of yours when plenty of us were saying this four years ago and you got pissed off about it?
The pelosi crime syndicate.
Nancy “the rat” pelosi and her father Jimmy “the
weasel” pelosi
The Pubbies have managed to step in pretty much every pile in the pasture.
Looking at your list, the most glaring thing I notice is that nothing you posted there except the war would bother country club republicans which IMO, have become the core of the party.
The current occupant of the White House doesn't have a pair though and it doesn't look like there are any real bulls in the holding pens.
Under #20 (Other) I would include:
Covering up for a faggot pedophile.
21. Quitters.
22. Runners of liberal abortionists.
