He's trying to protect what little is left of it. Even if he won it would be too little too late.

He's not helping his cause by being a total nut-case......the Dennis Kucinich of the Republican Party.

Not only is he nutty, he looks screwy and sounds even worse......definitely not pluses in a presidential campaign.

How long till Ron Paul names Lyndon LaRouche as his running mate?

I am disappointed to seen Ron Paul trashed with stupid name calling.

It's all the Paul bashers got.

They can't refute Paul on the issues or question his rock-solid committment to the Constitution, so they have to resort to ad-hominems.

Hey...he's your guy. You explain him.

I would never attempt to explain the actions of someone in his condition.

Ron Paul is like all the rest of the pole cats in DC. His foremost object is to stay elected and dip in the gravy train every day. Like the rest he could care less about the welfare and security of the USA and its citizens.
The Pole cats in DC have proven they will lie, cheat, steal, and kill to get and remain elected on the national and state level.

The problem with RP is not whether what he said is true or not. The problem is that he showed a grievous lack of discretion and demonstrated gross political negligence. That alone justifies yanking him from further debates.

I am freakin’ fed up with the absolute misrepresentation of what Dr. Paul said.

Those who say he said we deserved 9/11 are liars or stupid.

How did Paul give terrorists a pass?

I heard him explain what might have provoked them. I did NOT hear him suggest that justifies what they did.

Please tell us how Paul disses the Constitution. I’m unaware of him doing so.

He’s not “my guy” but I’ll be damned if someone who adheres to the Constitution the most is going to get criticized on this Forum that supports the Constitution.

If we pull out of Iraq, and out of the ME as Mr. Paul suggests, it will be a VICTORY for the terrorists, not just a retreat on our part. We toppled two terrorist supporting regimes. Even most democrats aren’t stupid enough to pull the rug out before we finish the missions.

The constitution was not intended to be a suicide pact or an excuse to be the world’s patsies. Did their status as founders stop Jefferson, Adams, Madison, and Monroe from projecting US military power in our national interests?

And if Mr. Paul is so keen on listening to what the terrorists have said in the past, maybe he ought to try listening to them now: declaring Iraq to be the #1 priority to defeat the infidel.

Paul supports the troops. What he (and the Founders) don’t support is the nation-building & propping up regimes aspect of it.

I am freakin’ fed up with the absolute misrepresentation of what Dr. Paul said.

Those who say he said we deserved 9/11 are liars or stupid.

You could hear quite a few 'baaaahs' when the mob cheered Guiliani's so-called 'smackdown' of Paul (which really had no substance to it).

There is a huge difference between someone how disagrees for the war on constitutional principles and someone (a typical liberal kook) who disagrees with the war on pacifist and other irrational grounds.

A liberal is 'patriotic' in the sense that they want to mold and re-make America into a socialist, communist dystopia. That's truly unpatriotic, against the spirit of the country.
Ron Paul is patriotic in the sense of seeking to restore America to it's constitutional roots, to actually follow the Constitution. That's patriotic, and that's respectable.

Of all places for him to be jeered at like some kind of lunatic. Talk about shouting a good man down. Extremely sad.

Ironically, a more Constitutional government would diminish the ridiculous amount of democratic power the masses have - the power they're using to wreck the country.

I support the Iraq war, but I respect Ron Paul and his position because I know he's basing his disagreement on Constitutional principals.

He's not out there to win the presidency, he's out there to educate and expose people to constitutional principles. Something everybody here should respect.
