Exclusive: The confrontation over Cuba continues. Michael Moore has challenged Fred Thompson to a health care debate. At issue -- Moore's trip to Cuba and Thompson's criticism of that trip. Moore noted Thompson's evident favor for Cuban cigars as a possible violation of the trade embargo.
I don’t think that cable tv is under the same restrictions. I don’t know about during the campaign, but it must be so at least after someone takes office. I’ve seen Arnold movies all over TNT and other channels since he’s been in office.
i love this guy!!
Classic. I don’t know whether to love him, or hate him for that “Start-with-back-to-camera, swivel-around-with-cigar-in-mouth-as -if-contemplating-some-vital-life-changing-piece-of-legeslation-before-giving-response” stage direction. But I give him some “props” for the video.
ROFLOL! Perfect squelch!
Be that as it may, it is perfect format for campaign ads. 30 secs.
And, it was done in a couple of hours! Moore issued his debate challenge TODAY. This video was scripted, filmed and on the Internet by 2pm.
Wow.
I didn't know that. Makes it even more impressive. It shows that he can be quick on his feet, and it shows that he has instant access to some highly capable media types.
Exactly. I would love to know the geeky details: where was it shot? Who shot it and how? Did Fred have this in the back of his mind all along? Or was he suddenly inspired by Moore’s diatribe?
It takes leadership just to get something like this done so lightning-fast.
