I suspect before any debate the Hillary camp will demand some type of staging which visually balances the two candidates. 6 foot 6 inch Fred v 5 foot 6 inch Hillary? Shed look like the troll she is well before she opens her mouth and proves it to the world.Thats probable.
Its pretty common actually, but its not done by elevation, but by putting in rules regarding camera placement. Basically, the camera angles are placed differently so the viewer doesn't notice the height differance unless the 2 interact.
Its also done to prevent distraction or ackwardness (some candidates are tall and some short, Kunich and Kerry would have looked bizarre side by side).

To be honest, if for some reason, FRed doesn't run, many of us would be very depressed for a while. That said, I think Hunter would benefit from the FRedheads.
I certainly wasn't thinking of Hunter as a "backup", until I just learned that he is a co-sponsor of H.R. 25, the FairTax. That makes him much more palatable to me than he was before. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised, since that is the only tax reform I've heard that accomplishes his goal of eliminating taxes on US manufacturing.
I'll be interested to see if he or any other candidates mention it, considering the big FairTax rally across the street. So far, among the candidates, only Tancredo and Huckabee have publicly endorsed it.

Oh, yeah.
It seems it all comes down to Ohio.
The good thing about Fred is that he has all of the upside for a swing state like Ohio, but no connection with recent bad things there, and really, no connection to GWB.
He makes me thing that a true red stater can win in 2008.

Not to worry- we’ll post reactions here on FR:)
And as to DU- pppfffftttt. The time for serious debates involving Fred will come..but it won’t be with Michael Moore:)
