heh..as he's tokin on the cigar..:-)
Yes, he responded and it is a video of Fred speaking.
All you gotta do is check out his voting record in the Senate to know how he stands on the issues. Google, it’s your friend.
Now that is funny!!
Pray for W and Our Troops
I have watched it 3 times - it cracks me up.
Kind of... he told Moore to essentially stuff it, and pointed out how Moore's buddy Castro deals with filmmakers he doesn't like (mental institution including electroshock) -- inferring that a mental institution wouldn't be a bad idea for Moore to consider for himself, though.
OUTSTANDING FRED!
Ditto
Right Said Fred!
Could be. Michael 'el Obeso' Moore essentially played into his hands. He opens the door to his own relationship with Castro, and the fact that he's under investigation, and leaves the door wide open for a Thompson put down.
Who wouldn't take advantage of that...well, maybe I shouldn't ask. I wonder how some of the other Republican wunderkind would have responded?

Any guy who gets lines like these deserves a vote.
Oh, my, that is just fantastic!
Thanks. Are you a little more positive toward Fred, perhaps?
ping to self
FRED STATE AMERICA
How can you not love this guy!
Fred should accept the invitation to debate that Moore threw out. Moore won’t accept and Fred will grow still further in his crusade to stop the Moonbats!
Transcript:
Fred swivels around in a big leather chair, smoking a big cigar, and looking at papers with spectacles perched on his nose. The caption comes up: “Senator Fred Thompson.” He looks up from his papers, looks into the camera and starts to speak:
“You know, I’ve been looking at my schedule, Michael, and I don’t think I have time for you. But I may be the least of your problems.”
“The next time you’re down in Cuba visiting your buddy Castro, you might ask him about another documentary filmmaker — his name is Nicholas Gean (spelling?). He did something Castro didn’t like, and they put him in a mental institution for several years, giving him devastating electroshock treatments.”
-Pause-
“A mental institution, Michael. Might be something you oughta think about.”
Fred picks up his papers and swivels his chair away from the camera as it fades out.
I'll even buy the Montecristo (although the Dominican variety next time I'm at Tinder Box.
Oh, OK...thanks. I thought it was a parody or something but didn’t know for sure since I coudln’t get the video. Thanks again.
