The Rev. Jerry Falwell arrived at Lynchburg General Hospital today around noon after being found unresponsive in his office. Ron Godwin, the executive vice president of Liberty University, confirmed that Falwell was found unconscious in his office after missing an appointment this morning.
Rest in Peace Jerry Falwell.
You did good.
I have a picture of him holding me as a baby. My family has some great memories of Rev. Falwell.
Farewell Brother Falwell. Your work on earth is done and it is time for you to go Home. Prayers of comfort being sent up for your loved ones that were left behind.
Yep. Didn’t always agree with what he said, but he did far more good than harm, no denying it.
May God bless and keep him and welcome him home.
But I KNOW the level of hatred for the Clintons in this forum. You may not see the vulgarity in terms of language, but you would see graphics of popping champagne. You could bet on it.
Why are you trying to drag FR down to the level of DU durring this sad time?
I do not believe that..The people of FR are kind and considerate and there is a world of difference between the animals at DU..
Sorry to have to disagree - when Slick had his heart surgery, people here were praying for his recovery. The miniscule number who deigned to take pleasure in it were severely chastised, and slunk away, as they should have.
Falwell and Flynt apparently came to some sort of a freindship later in life. They appeared on Larry King together and seemed quite pal-ly.
I thought they were just DUmies
Believe me I am well armed after reading the hate stuff from there it does scare me..
Link please?
God, I hope I don't actually know any of these people.
That just shows what a saint he was, then, to be able to be nice to that nasty Larry Flynt.
DCPatriot, you have a problem with the actions of the left today.
You see, DCPatriot, here’s your problem. The left, today, not tomorrow, not in the future, today, are showing the world how full of hate/rage/anger they are. We know it’s not new, DCPatriot, we’ve seen it before. Maybe you can’t defend it, if not, just say so. Nobody’s going to jump on you for not defending the indefensable. So, if you don’t agree with them, don’t defend them and please don’t make yourself look rather silly by claiming “you do it too”, when no such evidence exists.
The most important thing - pay your respects to the passing of an American. Do it quietly, do it however you wish, but don’t defend the indefensable.
Wikipedia is fast. They already have his death mentioned.
R.I.P.
I don’t know. Jim has called us down in the past for it
