that would work well
Buy American, problem solved.
fyi
I hope something good comes of this. Our Senior Citizens are running out of things to eat.....

When it come to the Chinese and their complete lack of common sense to the environment, etc., ChemNutra can kiss my petunia!
Unfortunately, even buying American is no guarantee. They buy products from other lands and add them here.... American label, foreign growers/manufacturers.
Life is risky....even for our pets.
We all die.
pets?
they are feeding people that same garbage
you go ahead and chump on it
Isn’t this rather like Zimbabwe calling for a human rights summit?
Let’s have a summit/meeting/talks, blah blah blah. Why not DO something?
because that would eat corporate profits
Bump
Thanks for the ping.
Laughing all the way to my next birthday! Lots of senior ones by now!
Darn it. My kids did not give me a new can opener for Mother’s Day......S/off
Is there any way to require companies to supply “country of origin” on the labels voluntarily?
NOT MORE LAWS AND BIG GOVERNMENT AGENCY!
BACK OFF! I said that manufacturers buy products from other lands and add them here, thus a Made in American label. I was not asking for laws detailing country of origin. I’m already well aware we have too many laws.
Sorry I offended you, My use of caps was due to my frustration with the situation not with you.
I addressed you since you were interested in labeling and I wanted no one to say I wanted more Government control.
I did not even think your comment was confrontational. I do not have a reputation for attacking anyone on this site.
I do wonder how labels will help since products recalled are often assembled or prepared in the US with foreign ingredients....how can we currently tell?
We both had irritating days. I don’t know... so many products world-wide are assembled or mixed from other products from other nations... Manufacturing has become a true melting pot.... and when something bad in Nation A gets thrown into the mix, we’re all effected. Now, what happens when someone with a grievance against the US deliberately adds something bad to the mix....?
I do wonder if that is not a method that is already being used...at least with a wink or a nod.
What is next?
