Aww, thanks kit .. I appreciate that more than you know, and thank you also, deb. It means everything to me .. prayer is powerful, and I’m skeeered... LOL.

Yes, snugs. Because it’s not the old procedure where they have to cut all the muscles, God willing .. I’ll have physio here 3 times a week for about a month, after 4 days in the hosp .. and along with doing the exercises (gonna have to really push myself), I pray I’m feeling like an almost new model in about 5-6 wks. That’s a HUGE difference over the old method, for sure.

That wink of his at the end of the video was the crowning touch to the whole thing! Seems the President has a little rhythm after all!

That’s awesome that it was only 7 weeks .. maybe she had the new minimally invasive type. By the way, it was invented by a orthopedist here in Chicago, and I met him. He did 2 hip replacements for my friend, and I found him to be pretty unfriendly, with little compassion or cordiality. I didn’t want to go to him .. but he’s obviously brilliant (and knows it .. LOL).

Absolutely, DrDeb! The Presidency is not a popularity contest, although some have used it as such, but a somber responsibility to the American people and the world at large. George W Bush (actually my favorite now, since in office - although I will always be a Reagan girl - heck - I was “Little Miss Goldwater” when I was 8 or so) knows this and carries the weight with a clear mind that learns from the past, respects the present and reaches for a better future!

Lovely First Lady! Thanks, snugs.

I'm headed off to Minnesota so won't be around for a few days.

I didn't want anyone to think I'd fallen off the face of the earth. ;)

See y'all Thursday!
