Im thinking that when the congress and the president (small p) act on immigration reform and with a stroke of the pen, put a $1100 pricetag on US citizenship for 30 million (yes 30 million) new americans( small a), that this country will never be the same.

"But its a slap in the face to all the people who did it the right way, and to those who are patiently waiting in line to legally get in." Agreed, but it's an even bigger slap in the face to ALL AMERICANS!!

One thing about wanting various voices in politics, even if they have no chance of winning, is they help to steer the Party back to it’s roots. I am glad Tancredo and Paul exist. Maybe someday we can have Presidents who cherish America over “diversity.”

Tancredo said his basic policy about government mirrors that of Thomas Jefferson.
"The government that governs best is that which governs least," he said. "Our government is far too large."BUMP

Damn straight. I AM AN AMERICAN. We won't be if Mr. first Mexican president Bush and his co-conspirators in Congress have their way. Welcome to Amexica. That will be his stinking legacy!

One note Tommy should stay in congress. I do like the fact that he alone seems to be pushing this issue in the debates. I would LOVE to see him go DIRECTLY after Mr. Multiculturalism (Rooty) on the latter’s support of Noo Yawk as a sanctuary city that has been “enriched” by the Third Worlders that make up the majority of NYC (check the census figures!).

Reagan and Clinton were not that much better than Bush on the immigration issue. Let’s be fair...

Reagan and Clinton were not that much better than Bush on the immigration issue. You're absolutely right, Clemenza, they didn't do squat to protect our borders or enforce existing laws either. I think Reagan at least regretted his decision, but by then it didn't matter, it was done.

30 million is a more accurate number.
the press and govt have held on to that 12 million way too long. too many more have added themselves illegally into the mix.

Reagan and Clinton were not that much better than Bush on the immigration issue. Lets be fair...WRONG! Illegal immigration exploded under GWBush. Just ask those Columbians and Brazilians you love

“30 million is a more accurate number.”
Add in the anchor effect and we’re talking about 100 million or more.
