Arrest in rape case A 30-year-old man from Somalia was arrested on Thursday night in connection with a violent rape in the Grünerløkka district of downtown Oslo last Friday.
"The man was filmed by a video camera at a 7-11 store. We have circulated pictures of the man internally among police, and close cooperation between departments and police stations allowed us to arrest the man," police captain Anne Rynning Aasen told Aftenposten.no.
The man, who has been charged with rape, has a prior criminal record. The arrest took place quietly in the Grønland district of downtown Oslo, just after 9 p.m. Thursday night.
Police said that they would check the suspect against a series of attack rapes and attempted rapes in the central Oslo area.
"My client will decide whether he acknowledges guilt at the remand hearing tomorrow. I have no other comment," the man's lawyer, Hilde Marie Ims, told Aftenposten.no.
The rape in question was extremely brutal. A 48-year-old woman was first raped and beaten in an Oslo street and was attacked again later after she encountered him on her way away from the crime scene.

Somali Perverts in Sweden!
“Somali Perverts in Sweden!”
- This rape took place in Oslo, Norway, but Sweden too has a lot of immigrants from Somalia. I think no other ethnic group in Scandinavia are so totally unwilling to adopt to modern society as these idiots (although there, like always, are some exceptions from the general picture).
Simply because it has turned into an invertabrate.
Lack of leadership, period. But as the people of the West become more and more aware of the real dangers and evil designs of islam they will force the issue by electing the type of leaders that will respond to islamofacism as it needs to be responded to. There is really only one pertinent question left. Will it be too late?
Somalis are the same way in the US. When I lived in Seattle, the local Ethiopian population (which was highly westernized) were the only folks with the cojones to point out what a bunch of backward medieval peasants the Somalis were. The only other groups, within the US, that even come close in terms of lack of acculturation/backwardness are the Hmong and the Mayans from Guatemala.
“Sorry, all Squareheads look alike to me. ;-)”
- Swedes and Norwegians in fact look very different.
A typical Norwegian (actor Rolv Wesenlund as ‘Fleksnes’):

So, how are the Sami doing these days. One of the few peoples of the world who I haven't encountered in my travels, largely due to the fact that I've never been to Scandanavia.
“I was JOKING, btw.”
- I know, I know.
“So, how are the Sami doing these days. One of the few peoples of the world who I haven’t encountered in my travels, largely due to the fact that I’ve never been to Scandanavia.”
- Neither I have met any Sami. My impression is that most of them are rather satisfied with their lives. A lot of them still make a living from breeding reindeer.
I hope you get to visit Scandinavia sometime. The fjords of Norway as well as cities like Copenhagen and Stockholm are really worth visiting.
A personal favourite place of mine is Österlen, a part of the southernmost Swedish region of Skåne/Scania. Scania in general is a wonderful part of Scandinavia though.
“Good one!!!

- A relative of mine who works in Norway told me Fleksnes isn’t especially popular among Norwegians. Is this because the TV series reveal the chocking truth about them?
Swedes are weak compare to Norwegians. Swedes are not as robust. I am so happy that we are more down to earth.
“Swedes are weak compare to Norwegians. Swedes are not as robust. I am so happy that we are more down to earth.”
- Seriously speaking, I think both Norwegians and Swedes are rather healthy and robust people.
Norwegians appreciate outdoor experiences, going on hikes and all sorts of ‘individual’ winter sports more than Swedes do, while Swedes are more interested in team sports like ice hockey and soccer than Norwegians.
Anyhow, I think ‘Fleksnes’ is very amusing TV series, even though I’m aware typical Norwegians are NOT like him to be honest.
Nordic people are probably on average one of the strongest in the world. Take a look at this video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2kIcwXFH0Y
- To begin with, Jón Páll Sigmarsson was, by all means, an admirable person. May he rest in peace.
Sigmarsson was a true athlete in the “Mens sana in corpore sano (a healthy mind in a healthy body)” -sense and I think it could be said, without a doubt, that he lived his life to the fullest.
Below, some quotes from the Wikipedia article about Sigmarsson:
“He knew he had serious heart problems in his family and was aware of this weakness”
“A famous quote from him is “there is no point in being alive if you cannot do the dead lift”.

Back to famous Swedish fighters:
I wonder what the outcome would have been from a real showdown between Dolph Lundgren and Sylvester Stallone.
Of course, there were probably some boxers and others who could have defeated Lundgren at that time (especially in the game of boxing as Lundgren wasn’t a boxer but a Kyokushin karate champion), but regardless of that, we Swedes will always have Ingemar Johansson. Not the best boxer ever, but one of the most hard hitting.

Where was the referee in this match? He should have stopped the fight.

Forgot some words.
It was supposed to read:
“Below a clip from 1959 (when he became World Heavyweight Champion after defeating Floyd Patterson).
Correction II:
The Johansson clip above does NOT feature the match vs Patterson in ‘59. It shows a 1958 match against Eddie Machen.
Here’s the match where Johansson defeats Patterson:
