Re: Statement re Republicans
Dear Mr Dean:
I am writing on behalf of fellow Republicans.
You have made the following statement: "You know, the Republicans are not very friendly to different kinds of people. They're a pretty monolithic party. Pretty much, they all behave the same, and they all look the same. ... It's pretty much a white Christian party.''
The statement made by you has been repeated and quoted throughout the major print media, on the internet, on the radio, and on television. It is, as you are aware, demonstrably, unequivocally and absolutely false. In particular, shame on you for "they all look the same." Just incredible.
No effort was made by you to ask me for a comment or to check the accuracy of this statement before you predictably and characteristically shot off your big mouth. Had you checked with me, I could have introduced you to Republicans I know who are rich, poor, black, brown, Asian, white, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, attorneys, students, unemployed, business owners, military personnel, truck drivers, plumbers, factory workers, radio talk show hosts, straight, gay, agnostic, and atheist. Had you made even a perfunctory effort to gather the facts, you would have been in a position that would give you direct knowledge of these revelations.
The statement quoted above is false and defamatory, is libelous and slanderous and clearly threatens to interfere with any Republican's ability to be respected in the eyes of his community. For these reasons, I demand that you immediately cease and desist from further dissemination of the above quoted statement or any statement similar in substance and immediately post a retraction of these statements on the DNC website in a location at least as prominent as that on which the original story appeared. Also, I demand that you apologize on a major television network during prime time, while wearing appropriate attire for you, a clown costume. Please end the statement with a great big YEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAA. I love that.
Please let me know by noon, May 14, 2007, whether you intend to comply with these requests.
Thanks for your time and immediate attention to this important matter.
Sincerely yours,
Doug from Upland
PS Should I send a copy of this to a slip and fall attorney somewhere?
That’s the list. I’m sure there is much more.

MIDI - DREAM - scroll down to 50s and 60s
Scre-ee-ee-eeam...I will scree-eam
Scre-ee-ee-eeam...I will scream
If you tell me, come and speak
Please rest assured that I will freak
Whenever you see me, you can count on me to scre-ee-ee-eeam...I will scream
I hate George Bush and it shows
Well, that is just the way it goes
Whenever you see me, you can count on me to scre-ee-ee-eeam...I will scream
You know in your guts I am really nuts
You need only half a brain
If you ask my shink...she thinks...that Manson is far less insane
So I will chair the DNC
Oh my, what fun it's gonna be
Whenever you see me, you can count on me to scre-ee-ee-eeam...I will scream
You know in your guts I am really nuts
You need only half a brain
If you ask my shink...she thinks...that Manson is far less insane
So, GOP, you should watch out
I'm working on a brand new shout
Whenever you see me, you can count on me to scre-ee-ee-eeam...I will scream
I'll scre-ee-ee-eeam...I will scream...I'll scream
...I thought you wrote the list, I must have got it somewhere else...
I can only take credit for finding someone else’s compilation of THE BEST OF DEAN.
Most excellent!
Orderly's attempt to prevent Howard from hurting himself only partially successful
"I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for," former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean told Democrats gathered at a Manhattan hotel
What is he doing? It looks like he thinks is a Samurai sword.
You can do this? I don't envy you your dreams. Your imagination is far too wierd. ;)
Substitute "atheist" for "Christian" and Dean is pretty much describing the (Maoist) state that he once governed.
That's funny considering I could always spot the RATS in a crowd during the 2000 election. They look like...."street people".
"We ought to reach out to those folks ... and not be afraid "
HA! HA! HA!
He's a couple of more nuggets of wisdom from the head of the DNC.
"We won't always have the strongest military."
"From a religious point of view, if God had thought homosexuality is a sin, he would not have created gay people."
" I don't hate Republicans as individuals. But I hate what the Republicans are doing to this country. I really do."
"I hate Republicans and everything they stand for."
" I have my warts. I sometimes say things that get me in trouble. In other words, I lead with my heart and not my head. That's the only chance we have against George Bush."
" I still want to be the candidate for guys with Confederate flags in their pickup trucks. We can't beat George Bush unless we appeal to a broad cross-section of Democrats. "
"I think most people... would be glad to pay the same taxes they paid when Bill Clinton was president, if only they could have the same economy they had when Bill Clinton was president."
" I will use whatever position I have in order to root out hypocrisy. Democrats have strong moral values. Frankly, my moral values are offended by some of the things I hear on programs like 'Rush Limbaugh,' and we don't have to put up with that."
"The idea that we're going to win this war is an idea that unfortunately is just plain wrong."
I still have this old-fashioned notion that even with people like Osama, who is very likely to be found guilty, we should do our best not to, in positions of executive power, not to prejudge jury trials,
" Tom DeLay ought to go back to Houston where he can serve his jail sentence. "
