After reading about the American Hunters and Shooters Association, a fake "pro-gun" group that's really financed by Democratic gun-control interests, I came across another group that also advertises itself as gun enthusiasts...but they're even more blatant in their aims.
The Gun Guys is a website that looks pro-gun at first...lots of pics of firearms, with cowboy-style fonts. But read their content, and it becomes apparent quickly that they're really gun-grabbers. Furthermore, they're sponsored by an organization that's misleadingly named The Freedom Alliance. This site sponsors several anti-gun sites, the most ridiculous being 50 Caliber Terror, a site that seeks to ban 50 cal weapons because "they might be used by terrorists to shoot down airliners".
No, I couldn't make that up if I tried.
They've also got a movie called License To Murder, decrying state laws that allow citizens to shoot first if they're in danger. They're funded in part by a leftist group called the Joyce Foundation, a group dedicated to liberal causes.
So don't be fooled when groups like the AHSA or Gun Guys comes calling. They're not your friends. They're wolves in sheeps clothing.

This is getting to be a common tactic. They’ve also set up phone Christian ‘Values’ groups.
I’ve known that The Gun Guys were actually anti-gun the first time I went there. Can’t remember why I was there, was nothing to do with gun control, but looked around once and never been back.
I didn’t think the SOB’s were that shrewd....evil, but not that sinister. Thanks for the heads up.
The folks who lack morality and the ability to be shamed have no qualms about masquerading as their enemy. Their views are so sinister and evil that a direct sell would result in their lynching. They understand this. Their tactic has been to infiltrate, take control, and subvert. Many a once-fine charitable institution has been commandeered in this fashion by these fascist autocrats. Many a public institution has succumbed as well.
They are attempting the same tactic with what might have been considered “untouchable” bastions of conservative values - churches and conservative organizations.
Be alert. Many a wolf is hiding in sheep’s clothing. Perhaps most of the sheep are really wolves.
Probably alot of these faux conservative groups are funded by the likes of Soros.......these wreak of his odor!
They forgot to mention that .50 caliber rifles cause global warming, and that some .50 shooters *gasp* SMOKE CIGARETTES!
We are in a war boys and girls. A real war to take it all away and put it in the hands of BIG GOVT. dictators.It is every bit as real as the terror war and possibly much more deadly as more than 200 years of the noble experiment will be destroyed with no one left to pick up the pieces. As the man said about defending freedom, “If not us..who?”
And now they’re using the Jersey terrorists as an excuse for a 50 cal ban there.
The level of hypocrisy used by gun grabbers is off the chart.
It would be nice to know how many times these web sites have been used as a reference by elected officials.
Barack Obama was on the board of the anti-2nd Amendment Joyce Foundation before he ran for Senate.
Websites such as this always come across real cheesy, obvious imposters who did not do their homework when trying to disguise themselves as the real deal.
