Kansas Governor knowingly lied at behest of Howard Dean.
Quinn & Rose | 5/10/2007 | Jim Quinn

Posted on 05/10/2007 7:11:26 AM PDT by HamiltonJay

Quinn this morning alleges that Kanasas Governor launched her attacks, and continues to at the behest of Howard Dean and Dick Durbin..... He claims his sources informed him she is acting completely on their direction and knew and admitted full well to R Senator in Kansas what she was doing and that she was lying.

Take that for what its worth, but if its true, Kathleen should be out of office by the end of the day, as sould Dean and Durbin.... The bodies weren’t even cold.

She disgraced it the day she got elected. She is a Hillary clone.

I wish MSNBC would simulcast his show for a couple of mornings. Now that would be worth listening to!

Did you get a chance to see Larry Elder on Monday and Tuesday? He is local to me here in SoCal, and they were actually nice enough to simulcast his show back here in Los Angeles on KABC (between 3am and 6am). He also did his regular national show from 3pm-6pm PDT.

“As it turns out, she shows herself to place her party above the citizens of her state.”

***

I’m speculating again, but any coercion or threats may have involved the state as well. For example, these powerful types can make sure certain projects (and job opportunities) don’t come to Kansas, if the governor didn’t tow the party line. Not saying this is what happened here, but it is a possibility.

Why would she call the R senator. That is kind of shooting herself in the foot, isn’t it? I’m not saying I don’t believe this to be true, however it doesn’t make sense for her to call the Senator.

Quinn also mentioned that Sebilius called senator Brownback later and apologized for making the statements but that she was doing as she was told (by Dean and perhaps Durbin) and that was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

If this is true, it makes Brownback look pretty bad too. She confesses something like that and he says nothing?

Can anyone see themselves doing the same in that position?

So I'm thinking it's not true...

If this were true, why hasn’t the Republican senator admitted to this?

Something like this needs proof.

I can see we’re on parallel trains of thought here.

Parts of this story just don’t seem likely, and other parts are just too good to be true. :D

State and national politics are two different things. Dems occassionally win the governorship.

Yep, if it’s true that she’s looking to national politics for her future, I wouldn’t think she would bite the hand thats feeding her. If anything she would shut her mouth up tight, unless of course she has left a paper trail. Then I could see her backtracking pretty hard.

Brownback could not keep his mouth shut if this really happened.

This story is BS.

Sebelius may have done it with coordination, but this particular story, at least telling Brownback about it, is BS.

The whole story might just turn out to be BS.

If Dean and Durbin tell her what to say and she exposes them, they're toast. If she doesn't expose them and the story gets out anyway, they're all toast. If she told Brownback about it, and he goes pubic with it, she and Dean and Durbin are toast. If he doesn't go public and the story gets out anyway, everyone's toast.

I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut if this really happened.

And if I were also running for president and happened to need publicity and name recognition, as he does, I really wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut. Not for five minutes.

Yet I'm supposed to believe he kept this to himself for days...

“I think it’s showing that elected women officials don’t handle large-scale crisis as well as men.”

You have to consider the role of Dean and Durbin in this affair (we DO know the DNC issued a scurrilous press release about it, so it's not just a question of an unconfirmed "deep throat" report). Also the bozo Obama talking about "10,000 dead"..... there are THREE male elected officials (well Dean was formerly the multi-term Gov. of VT, even if he is now just the DNC hack) who have shown grotesque incompetence and political opportunism of the rankest sort in this matter. I would not turn it into a female issue at all, it's a 'RAT issue of shameless propaganda and grotesque opportunism.

” Unless Kansas uses 155mm Artillery in some unique way for Tornado cleanup, she’s a freakin’ liar...

CNN even has pictures of huge Guard convoys arriving with bulldozers and front-end loaders on it’s website!

The 184th Civil Engineering Squadron (the Tornado Response Unit)has recently returned from it’s deployment, BUILDING BORDER FENCES IN ARIZONA.”

http://www.accesskansas.org/ksadjutantgeneral/
has pictures of some of the non existent KS National Guard and their phantom equipment.
Blanco acted like a dithering ditz, in way over her head.
Sebelius acted like a typical Democrat harpy ,
trashing the military as helpless saps who abandoned their equipment in Iraq.
And then sat around for years doing absolutely nothing to replace what they left there for other units to use.
It’s disgusting to see Sebelius’s lies repeated in columns and on talk radio across the country.
Glad the KSARNG is trying to set the record straight.
This whole Sebelius mess reinforces how disasterous it is for a female Democrat to mix with the military.

INteresting... I have been listening to Quinn since day one of his show here in Pittsburgh... I’d like to see Braumbeck back up his claims publicly... rather than hearsay... but we shall see what if anything happens.

If it is true, Dean, Durbin and the Governor of Kansas need GONE, forceably if neccessary.

Seems to me there ought to be some boilerplate language already in the laws setting up FEMA concerning the question of "interfering with".

If Dean said what he said to this old bat in Kansas, and she then failed to act in the face of a disaster until he called back several hours later, then she and Howie are probably felons.

Time for "W" to start tossing them in prison for the duration. We've let him get away with letting the Nancy woman and her running dog lackey in the Senate get away with treason, but here we've got the Governor of a state and the DNC chairman acting together to delay public aid and assistance to disaster victims still digging their way out of their basements.

If "W" doesn't do anything, it's time to bring charges against him, or the slimeball in the White House who's been advising him against getting tough on Democrats who commit crimes against the people.
