Cal Thomas is a wonderful voice of reason. He is very tall (over 6"5') and a very committed born again Christian.

“... surely some are and how do we identify them before we experience another Sept. 11 — times 10?”
-—<>-—<>-—<>-—<>-—<>-—

OR what I’m more worried about, in fact:

“... before we experience 1% of Sept. 11 -— ten thousand times?

Here is another example of why the white flag appraoch to fighting terror is not going to work. While Pelosi, Reid, Murtha and the rest of the surrender monkies in DC do their best to lose the war, our enemies are only too happy to come here and fight us on our own shores. How can the Democratic leadership be so reckless and just plain stupid? We either win the war overseas or we fight it here.....how many episodes of that do we need before they get the message? Maybe they will not demand we withdraw from the Northeast.....Pennsylvania first, Murtha’s district is showing no progress at all.

Certainly Democrats are hindering our fight against Jihadis at home. The very popular Barack Obama is concerned about Muslim men who have been detained. (Funny thing...Obama doesn't speak out for Muslim women who are mistreated by Muslim men.)

I wonder how many jihadists roamed freely while Gov. McGreevey's boyfriend, Golan Cipel, handled New Jersey's Homeland security.

Investigations by the news media into Cipel's history revealed few notable qualifications related to intelligence or security.

Had it not been for the carelessness of one of the suspects who asked a local video store to copy a training video depicting men with weapons shouting "God is great" and proclaiming jihad, the alleged plot might have succeeded.

Why did Cal write that? Whom does this help....?

The Muslim terrorists, three of whom were illegal aliens, must have missed class when terrorist tactics were taught. Terrorists are supposed to go up against unarmed women and babies from ambush. They are not supposed to attack a regular army force.

They would have been shot down in short order.

According to the Hartford Institute for Religion Research, the number of mosques in America grew 60 percent between 1995 and 2000, second only to the Christian mega-churches and well ahead of the Mormons and Assemblies of God. One finds no reciprocity in Muslim countries, where churches, and especially synagogues, are either tightly controlled or banned outright. In the Washington, D.C., area, alone, there are an estimated 45 mosques. It only takes one to serve as a theological instruction center for young jihadists who believe that killing Americans is his or her highest "calling."

The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets, the believers our soldiers. - Ziya Gokalp

The barracks are being built and filling up with platoons of soldiers.

If these cells were all to launch attacks at once and the citizenry were to fight back we would find ourselves beset by the law enforcement agencies of the nation who would be more concerned to protect the saracens, guilty or innocent, than to protect the country. More resources would be expended against militias and citizens than against jihadists attacking targets in our country. That is Political Correctness and our nation appears to be sworn to that standard above survival itself.

White House press secretary Tony Snow said there is "no direct evidence" that the suspects have ties to international terrorism.

They don't need any. They have ties to international _Islam_.

What more does a jihadi need?
