We have to get the people right with the law so we change the law LOL!
The most offensive is the collective guilt he proclaims of “us all” having looked the other way and letting the Mexicans in for economic reasons. Now just how did I do that?
No one is against immigration (although we should have more restrictions on it), but any reasonable person should agree that we have a right to control our borders.
Maybe he us talking about all the hospitality, agriculture, construction, and travel companies that are contributing to him.
Lindsey isn’t smarter than Forest Gump.
Forest Gump would be a better Senator.
Does anyone know if he is getting a primary challenger this year? We really need to get this pathetic wimp out of office.
Reminds me of that brilliant quote Michael Scott on “The Office” attributed to Lincoln: If youre a racist, I will attack you with the North.
I wonder if he isn’t running (unannounced) for President, or at least VP to McCain.
“No group owns being an American.” How about the citizens of the United States?
“We’ve all let this problem get out of hand.” No. Elected officials let this problem get out of hand. People like Lindsey Graham, Ted Kennedy, and John McCain.
“We’re going to tell the bigots to shut up.” In other words, if you don’t agree with Lindsey “SHUT UP.”
Lindsey Graham may mean well, but he has no monopoly on virtue or smarts. I’d like to tell that bigot to shut up and go home.
I don’t know how many Freepers saw the program tonight, but Lou Dobbs quoted Graham’s idiotic comments calling all of us who want secure borders “bigots.” Lou said his remarks were “breathtaking.”
The National Review magazine of Oct. 9, 2006 featured a picture of Graham on the cover and just below the picture said “WRONG” ... Sen. Lindsay Graham’s Folly...”
I think Lindsay is trying desperately to separate himself from the conservative pack so he can pursue higher political office. By the way, when Lou invited him on his show he went into hiding. His staff couldn’t find him or discuss his schedule!!
Remember how Rush many months ago referred to him often as “Vice President Lindsay Graham?”
Many a truth is said in jest! A RINO - as if we needed another!
what a loser.
Please help us Lord! This is a sitting Senator!!! This is a speech that again tells me that America is in its last days. It won’t fall over the cliff tomorrow but the seeds are sown. What mentality does he posses over Barbara Boxer? To you S. Carolinians - Dump this fool as quick as you can.
Someone needs to send him the video link that Ladycalif posted today!!!!!
Could there be a conjoining of Graham and Edwards in the future?
Both share a propensity to primp, postulate, and lisp.
I apologize if I’m being anal.
For someone who holds himself out a devoted and faithful the the law, he seems to cherry-pick which part of the law he loves. It seems the law says those who are in this country "unlawfully" are lawless. Graham has nothing to say about that portion of the law. This type of selective application of the law is what divides people. Enforce the laws. If the law changes, then enforce the law. What is hard about that?
