Funny how she dashed off to be on his right for that frosty glare. The brit papers are more pathetic than the US media.

Oh please. Americans don’t stand on so much ceremony. She’s just a human being, not some kind of god.
sheesh.

In Seinfeld terms, clearly the Queen can only "go left" in the glare department, as she appears to have gotten the wink while on one side of Dubya, but walked all the way over to the other side of him to hit him with the glare.
NOT!

It's probably not even true, and it wouldn't matter if it was.

I guess she said....”we are not amused!”
I guess you get a bit stogy after sitting on the throne so long.

It’s a false report. I watched it. The Queen smiled. The pics are from two separate times.

It really is nauseating. I mean, who has a nuttier family than she does? And after her son has been heard on tape wishing to be a feminine hygiene product, what’s a wink????

True, but thats what makes them so unintentionally amusing....(chuckle)
That said, I’ll always remember The Queen ordering our national anthem to be played the day after 9/11.
God Save the Queen.

She looks as though she may be smiling in the first photo. I can’t imagine how she could not.

“These Brits dont have much sense of humor.”
They’re still bitter about that little war we had a few years ago. Either that or maybe it was GW’s comment. I think it was “isn’t Charles a puffter?”
Oh well...Tally ho!

“The Queen received the wink with a frosty glare”
I couldn’t care less what “the Queen” thinks or does. There is no such thing as royalty or monarchy. She is a human like everyone else. If she can’t accept Bush’s friendliness, she should go back home.
Our revolution kicked royalty out of our lives. Royalty should stay out.
