What’s the point? Polygraphs don’t work.

Its just a shot back at the dems. Kinda like sticking the gun up over the wall and shooting without aiming. Just noise.

the efficacy of polygraphs not withstanding, this administration is too compassionate to hurt a democrat.
They are wusses.

Crazy Les reporting for World Nut Daily.
It really does press the question of how much bogosity it takes to create a black hole from which no credibility can escape.

The important word here is “studied,” which is polispeak for “not done.”

So he takes a polygraph. His “promise” probably doesn’t require truthful answers. What would be his punishment if/when he lies?

...to be studied... Oh Wow! I can hardly wait!
Gimmee a friggin break, will ya?
If they ever had any intention of nailing Berger for his obvious and possibly treasonous theft of government documents they blew it a long time ago.
This is so stupid it's not even funny.

It was part of his plea bargain. The Gov has to do it or renig on representing the people vs. Berger. It should be a slam dunk.

There comes a point where a President has to protect the office of the President. Not only for his administration, but for the presidents that follow him and even those that proceeded him. If we allow ourselves to pursue and convict previous administration’s officials for their actions, it will have a ripple affect that will cause the next administration (perhaps of the opposite party) to do the same whether or not it is warranted. For all that President Nixon did for our Nation during some very difficult times, the greatest thing he did was to resign and protect the office of the President by doing just that. President Ford in turn pardoned him from any prosecution and continued the protection of the office of President. If we are to pursue actions against Sandy Berger, and end up losing the next Presidential election, I do not look forward to the countless Senate hearings and proceedings against VP Chenny, Karl Rove or AG Gonzales for nothing more than doing their job.

Hmm, WHY do they have to ‘study’ this? Wasn’t he supposed to take one anyway? cheez.

The only thing polygraph tests can do is trick someone into saying more than they otherwise would.
It’s pure voodoo science. They can’t determine if anyone is lying or not. This is completely ridiculous. The results of the tests are totally useless.
