The President and the First lady spent the weekend in Washington.
On Saturday the President went for a bike ride and encouraged fellow Americans to exercise.
On Sunday he talked about the weekend's devastating storms after attending services at Saint John's Church with the First Lady.
Today he welcomed Queen Elizabeth II to the White House during which they inspected the troops and afterwards the Queen and President Bush went on of her customodary walkabouts and met with local school children and students outside the White House.
This evening the President held a State Dinner at the White House in the Queen's honour. As I am posting there is no photos or guest list on the White House website if this is posted shortly I will will post this on the dose.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
Very unusual I also like Liz’s outfit a lovely colour
I’m sorry about posting the guest list. I missed your link to it while I was searching or the FR thread with the list on it.

Part of them - not sure whether what she is wearing is the real thing or a replica.
Here are some lovely ladies and gowns:
This is my personal favorite dress...i love deep navy blue:Justice and Mrs. Roberts:
And Laura and Lynne look fabulous too.
Yes she was in the ATS the volunteer women’s arm of the army
She has been Queen a LONG time. In my baby book there is an entry for “Baby named after” and my mother wrote, “Your Mother, Grandmother and the Queen of England”
That was 1964.
Your post gave me a chuckle. You see, as a young lad, I recall listening with my family to the live radio broadcast of Her Majesty’s coronation as the Queen. It was as glamorous and intriguing an event as the marriage of Princess Di and Prince Charles, only we had to rely on the descriptions given by the radio announcers.
Thanks
It is a lovely green
