I said that same thing to one of my more liberal friends. His response was, “So keep sending more troops to die for nothing so that the troops before them won’t have died for nothing?”
I then remembered that old saying about arguing with stupid people and just walked away.

But I think the liberals want them to come home because their Borg leaders have much to hide in Iran, and possibly Anabar province too.
I can't help but think of the Kerry Committee report during the Iran Contras.
