Rep Shays is irate, says that as long as US forces are still there, the Iraqi Government should refrain from taking vacation.
As long as US forces are in Iraq, the US congress should not take a recess, or even the weekend off.
Wonder, considering how the US Congress has done NOTHING for the last 6 months, if Shay’s is willing to apply the exact same standard to himself and his colleagues?

I would prefer our own government to take a three month summer vacation. Their absence would be in the best interests of the country. Their presence all year round is not doing anyone any favors.
