There will be a great calamity here because man trusted man and not God.

For the results - released exclusively to the Daily Mail - suggest that ordinary people really do have a sixth sense that can help them 'see' the future

The Moron Chip Theory:

Deep within the brain of most humans, resides the Moron chip. This chip, when working properly, is constantly observing the person's behavior. In the event of dangerous or stupid behavior, it will go into alarm mode. Historically, this chip may be what helped the smarter cavemen to not become "food" or "stuff on a rock".

DEEP in the basement of a dusty university library in Edinburgh lies a small black box, roughly the size of two cigarette packets side by side, that churns out random numbers in an endless stream.

At first glance it is an unremarkable piece of equipment. Encased in metal, it contains at its heart a microchip no more complex than the ones found in modern pocket calculators.

But, according to a growing band of top scientists, this box has quite extraordinary powers. It is, they claim, the 'eye' of a machine that appears capable of peering into the future and predicting major world events.

The machine apparently sensed the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre four hours before they happened - but in the fevered mood of conspiracy theories of the time, the claims were swiftly knocked back by sceptics. But last December, it also appeared to forewarn of the Asian tsunami just before the deep sea earthquake that precipitated the epic tragedy.

For the results - released exclusively to the Daily Mail...

Before I even read the rest of the article, this line allows me to see into the future and realize that the answer to come shall be bunk. The rights to one of the most important scientific discoveries of all time wouldn't be sold off to a newspaper for a quick check.

This reminds me of Malcolm Gladwell's book Blink. The premise is that people have the ability to "thin slice" situations by subconsciously extracting only the most important facts available from the environment (this ability is enhanced by experience).

By doing this, the brain's processing power can focus on just those things that matter, and the result is that our subconscious reaches conclusions before our conscious (sometimes even in direct opposition to our conscious).

Interesting article thanks. When I was young and carefree and liked to drive fast, I would just “know” when there was a cop with radar set up around the next curve. A sense of doom would hit me suddenly and I would slow down. Now I am a law abiding senior citizen and I only get parking tickets.

Predictive reasoning is known specialty of the human brain. It is an ability that is shared, to a certain degree, with other animals.

And what do you see for France ?
Thank you very much

Dear Soul,
Like I wrote a few weeks ago about France. France is at the brink of big Political changes. The man who wanted to be The King of Europe is about to fall. Relations with England, The Netherlands, Italy and more countries in Europe will be worse and worse. The people of France will ask him to leave. A young man comes in his place. Relations with other countries will be better. France have to keep a clear eye on what is happening in different parts of Paris. The Jihad will come to France.

I get these strange feelings that something is going to happen to France. Like a terrorist attack. Whenever I see Jacque Chirac right now, I see pain and much sadness ahead.
Gaia Man,
I know that you posted about the Jihad going into France. Would you be so kinda as to go into that a bit more if you know of anything else?

Dear Soul,
About his sadness, its because he knows the time is approaching, a similar attack will hit France.
But it will be bigger. The Jihad has come to Europe with the attack in Madrid. He knows the Base is in Paris. He knows he will have to step down as a Leader, a younger man will come to replace him.

All the hijacked planes were carrying only half the usual number of passengers. Perhaps one unusually empty plane could be explained away, but all four?

Those flights were selected by the hijackers precisely because they normally carried a low passenger load.

Interesting that millions-to-1 odds scientifically permit people to believe in peoples’ abilities to see the future, yet mathematicians calculate the improbability of one protein coming about via random events at 10 to the 40,000th power and that is not enough to convince people that life/creation is not a random accident.

All of these stories suggest that we can pick up premonitions of events that are yet to be.

They suggest nothing of the sort.

What they do suggest is that people are great at injecting themselves into an Important Situation.
