YouTube video of Duncan Hunter
I heard he was there.
Yuk Yuk
Apparently he didn’t make much of an impression, which isn’t all bad. He could have done much worse, actually.
I’m laughing at the fact nobody has even brought up Tancredo.
Tancredo reminds of the guy in high school sports who was the "Team Manager".
I thought Hunter was excellent in substance. He’s just not a showman. Both are reasons I want him to be my next president.
Some of my liberal or naysayer friends said that the debate really helped Duncan Hunter.
“Tancredo reminds of the guy in high school sports who was the “Team Manager”.”
Huh....damned if that isn’t the best description of him I’ve seen to date.
One of my more liberal friends, who I argued with about Hunter, said that I was right about Hunter, and he would eat crow. :)
I’m keeping an open mind on Hunter. A year ago, I wasn’t impressed, thought he had flip on immigration, I later learned that was media parsing.
I’ll keep listening when I catch him via the news.
Bump for Duncan Hunter
Ok - let me ask a slightly off color question:
What’s with those funky arms on McCain?
It’s like his arms are only 6 inches from shoulder to elbow.
Hunter is great in these clips. I didn’t see the debate, but I’m very impressed. He knows his stuff, and he brings it to the point. Bravo.
AWESOME!!!
He’s da man!
Well, that’s good news.
I was reading the transcript and was amazed that Chris hardly ever called on Hunter or Huckabee. I’m surprised anyone got to hear their take on any of the issues.
And why or why was a flaming liberal allowed to pose questions at GOP debate?
The ole girls at the post office and the guys at the hardware were all impressed with him but wanted to hear more. The consensus around here seems to be that Romney was also good but a little too slick to be easily trusted.
Per Intrade contracts, Duncan Hunter’s nomination chances were:
one-tenth of one percent before the debate, and
one-tenth of one percent after the debate.
He was brutally tortured in Nam while in captivity and has restricted use of his arms.
Hunter was as good as I’ve ever seen him. Unfortunately, that’s like saying, “if Bob Dole had been as at ease in his Presidential campaign as he was in those Viagra commercials, ‘96 might not have been such a blow-out”.
