Ever since that late morning is Dealey Plaza Dallas Texas, November 22nd 1963, the soul of America has been tortured by lingering doubts about the official version of the murder of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The Chief Justice Earl Warren was appointed by Lyndon Baines Johnson to head the official investigation, the Warren Commission. After reviewing all the evidence, the Commission's final report named Lee Harvey Oswald as the lone gunman responsible.

In 1966, the book, Six Seconds in Dallas, raised important questions pointing to evidence which indicated that there was more than one shooter. More than one shooter would indicate a conspiracy, so the next question would be "Who else was involved"...

im not a quack or a conspiracy theorist, and yet i totally believe this confession (although hunt may not have known the exact details since he was not, according to him, part of it). there are simply too many holes in the official explanation.

When he got into office he managed to lose the Vietnam War and finish the work FDR started toward bankrupting our economy.

The war on poverty. No exit strategy.

Wasn't Hunt one of the 3 "bums" on the grassy knoll as well as Woody harrelson's dad?

I still love the Seinfeld parody with Kramer, Newman and the magic lugee!

There are still people alive who could be scrambling on this one.

Like Arlen Specter?

I was in elementary school when it happened and I remember to this day for some strange reason that I was walking to school with my friend and we were talking about it and we decided that it was Johnson that order him killed.

I was in the first grade when I heard it (it was in the afternoon, and our teacher was so overcome with grief she had to leave early). I don't remember anyone saying Johnson did it other than my dad, who hated both JFK and LBJ. I do remember playing outside with some friends on my 7th birthday when my grandmother ran out to tell me "someone shot the guy who killed the president!" My friends and I said things like "all riiight!". So, in those days, most of us believed Oswald was the guy whodunnit.

I still do.

Read “Case Closed” by Gerald Posner.

Lee H. Oswald was the gunman, the only gunman, who killed Kennedy.

Deal with it.

No, no, no. I was a youngster and I distinctly remember my Republican father saying he believed LBJ could definately “be capable” of having JFK killed. He added - “God help us with LBJ as our president— as if JFK wasn’t inept enough now we have LBJ and he is devious.” And I always listened to my daddy!

I have believed this since the day it happened. Cui bono?

Cui Bono? Lee Harvey Oswald, a n'er do well punk who tried so hard to get America to notice him, and finally succeeded.

No one counts on the MSM to do anything anymore. :o) I did hear a rumor that Glen Beck was looking at it and working on something. Hunt is a slickmeister but only time will tell.

“Wow, this AND the Great Society? He is responsible for every evil ever perpetrated on the US?”

Nope, that goes all the way back to great-great-great-great-great-grampa Bush who started it all..

"People, Kennedy was killed by a lone nut, Lee Harvey Oswald...end of story."

I beg to seriously differ. If you watch the Zapruder film closely, you'll notice that with the fatal second shot, JFK's head snaps back to the rear of the limo and the skull fragments explode in the front of his head with the fragments flowing to the rear of the limo too. These lone facts tell the second shot came from the front. Any ballistics expert will very that to be the norm for a frontal shot.

That was not the only closing statement, he went on for 5 minutes on how the people will have lost the country if they allow this to happen.

If this new "revelation" is true, it makes Jim Garrison's pathetic case against Clay Shaw look even weaker. Oliver Stone is a conspiracy nut whose entire world revolves around JFK/Viet Nam.

The point of JFK the movie was "if only JFK had lived, there would have been no Viet Nam war. JFK was gonna end it, but those mean old military men wanted a war, so they killed him, thus causing young Oliver stone to be scarred for life in a war that ould not have happened". Of course there is ZERO evidence that JFK was going to scale down the Viet Nam war. But in Stone's reality, facts do not matter.

Having been able to stand in the exact spot that Oswald was when he shot the President removed any doubts in my mind. I was astonished by how close the kill spot was from that window perch. Any shooter who had any training and who could keep his cool could have made that last head shot. As I understand it, Kennnedy was wearing a corset which kept his body erect after he took the first hit. The driver had not yet reacted so the car was moving along at parade speed more or less directly away from the shooter. My only caveat is that the body was taken away from Dallas before an autopsy could be performed. This greatly complicated the handling of the physical evidence.

The three “bums” have long since been identified.

See: http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/3tramps.htm

“Ray and Mary LaFontaine, working for the tabloid TV program “A Current Affair,” set out to find Harold Doyle, whose address was listed on the arrest record as Red Jacket, West Virginia. The trail led from West Virginia to Amarillo, Texas, where the LaFontaines found one of Doyle’s former neighbors who remembered him talking about his arrest in Dallas. Doyle was finally located in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He told his story on camera (embedded video), and was also questioned by the FBI.

“The FBI and private researchers sought the other two tramps. Gedney was located in Melbourne, Florida, serving as a municipal officer, a respected member of the community who had not spoken about former life as a vagabond until interviewed by researcher Billy Cox, and by the FBI. Both Doyle and Gedney told the same story of spending the night before the assassination at a rescue mission. According to Oliver Revell of the Dallas FBI office:

“’Both commented that they had gotten fresh clothes, showered, shaved and had a meal. They headed back to the railroad yard when they heard all the commotion and sirens and everything, and they asked what happened. They were told the president had been shot.’ See The Washington Post, March 4, 1992, and Dateline Dallas, Winter, 1993.

“Abrams, the oldest of the tramps, was deceased. But researcher Kenneth Formet interviewed his sister, with whom he had lived the last 15 years of his life. She remembered his vagabond days, saying ‘he was always on the go hopping trains and drinking wine.’ When shown a picture of the Dealey Plaza tramps she responded ‘Yep, that’s my Bill!’ (Dateline Dallas, Winter, 1993)”

It was agent Hickey with the AR-15 who fired the fatal headshot. Case closed.
