This could be a trap set by the Dems.
Now, the Dems can dilly-dally and do nothing.
When the Admin complains that the military wont get funded, the Dems can play the we sent you a budget bill and you vetoed it.
This will end up putting more pressure on the military and on the Administration than on the Dems.

Maybe when Bush finishes, hell repeat the whole speech in Spanish. Savage would turn that off in a heartbeat, I am certain of that.

Bush says that not all “terrorists” in Iraq who blow up civilians want to harm Americans, but some do. Good lord, this is making me sick! More PC appeasement for Muslims. I want to hear a straight shooter, dammit!

“trap set by the Dems”
I agree. The next one has some pork cut, say 1/3, different timeline for surrender. Then what does Pres. Bush do?

Sorry a little off topic, but Savage reminded me of this when he mentioned post-war Germany. Saw the last part of a movie the other night on TMC by Roberto Rosselini called Germania anno zero. I knew we bombed them to smithereens but unless you can see real pictures of it—well I didn’t really know how bleak it was. The movie seemed like it was pretty accurate portrayal of what things were like. Of course it was in black and white too so that really added to the affect. Downfall, a more recent motion picture, was another good one about Germany focusing on Hilter’s last days.

I wouldn’t want to be Savage’s anything—well maybe Teddy. I think he gets treated pretty darn well.

This will end up putting more pressure on the military and on the Administration than on the Dems. Exactly! More political posturing at the expense of our men and women in uniform. What's *really* needed right now is an ROE change!

Hey, nice to see you. Whatisthetruth is off marching for “guest worker rights” so he can’t be here. I’ve been brushing up on my spanglish.

At the very least Bush should pardon every soldier charged with some BS infraction in Iraq.
