We see this happening at the hospital fairly regularly, more than I had ever expected.

Pretty soon, the headlines will read “Peanuts trigger fatal reactions in people.”

So? Outlaw peanuts?

Yeah, after a few years... Most of us have seen neighbors or whoever start exhibiting symptoms. So what else is new?

It seems like there was another study with the same conclusions in the last two years. I have a friend who works as a nurse who, at that time, said they see a lot of people come in like that because of being habitual pot smokers.

I don’t really know anyone who smokes pot, no one who admits to it at least in my circle so I can’t really say from experience.

Here’s another article from the UK which contains some more interesting info. - like the fact that THC levels have risen from 6% to 12% in recent years. I remember some time ago when I tried to tell the potheads from DU that post here on FR that the THC levels had risen and that it had become a serious physical and mental health problem. They became quite indignant and swore that wasn’t the case, lol.

Cannabis ‘disrupts brain centre’

Thousands are thought to be dependent on cannabis
Scientists have shown how cannabis may trigger psychotic illnesses such as schizophrenia.

Experts are concerned that street cannabis is becoming increasingly potent. It is thought that average THC content has risen from 6% to 12% in recent years.
