I fail to see why it’s blasphemous or bigoted. Mary was a woman, and subject to all physical conditions associated with being a woman and mother.

Virginity is either:

A. A certain condition of the female reproductive organs.

B. A state of not having engaged in sexual intercourse with a man.

Muslims appear to be confused about which definition applies.

In my personal opinion, Mary was a virgin even after her Son was born, because I agree with definition B. It is ludicrous to think otherwise, but it does tie in very well with Muslim culture being based on shame, not honor.

In fact, neither woman is a practicing Muslim. They dress, speak and act like other young Parisians, but are also part of a growing silent group of women who juggle traditional Muslim and modern French values.

Is it just me? They're not practicing Muslims, but they need to "juggle" traditional Muslim and modern French values.
