Kansas City TV station KMBC reported that there are multiple victims and that there is a continuing search for possibly more victims inside the center. The Target store is on the north end of the Ward Parkway Shopping Center, and there was crime scene tape shown in live video from the scene.

Witnesses told the TV station that it was an “absolutely terrifying” experience. The shooter apparently started shooting in another part of the mall, then went to the Target store and continued shooting, KMBC reported. People said they fled from the store and others started hiding in the aisles.

Witness Travis Johnson told CNN that he was at the register when he heard people screaming and crying and saw them running toward the door. He said he then heard shooting.

Very little is known about the shooter, but all indications suggest that the attack was an unprovoked incident, KMBC reported.

Yea I know it’s just semantics. I just get a laugh at poking fun at people that slam others for not being “educated” then go and say various misstatements themselves.

What is the penalty for carrying in one of these reality-free zones?

Depends on the State. In mine all the business can do is tell you to take your gun out to your car and come back unarmed. If you don't comply they can trespass you, but they can't legally detain you for the trespass.

I don't care what the sign on the door says,

If the owner of a business doesn't want guns in their place, they can make that the policy and you can take your money and go to an establishment that allows your weapon. I think that is the way it is supposed to work.

My target price is 50 cents/can,
which typically leaves me with old milwaukee or something like that,
but lately Kroger has been selling Busch for $9.99 per 18 pack,
and I have been going with that.

I really don’t care about the SOP because if I were to shoot someone murdering people and trying to murder myself I believe the those upholding the law will see a clearly justified shooting. Less guns in the hands of good people simply means more sitting ducks. I don’t want to be a sitting duck.

Whoever wrote that should be shot because what they are doing is castrating the common US citizen. “17 to 45”...Screw the bastard who wrote that crap!

During the Revolutionary war, EVERYONE was part of “The Militia”, everyone who wanted freedom that is. The forefathers wrote the second amendment solely to uphold that, to show that everyone is responsible for their own freedom and life, not the government.

. What liberals are doing today is giving power to psychopaths. Like my brother says, when you get into a heated argument with someone or get close to punches, most people will never punch even though a punch, or assault can kill just as much as a gun, but people don`t because they know they can get their asses sued off and spend up to 7 years in jail for assault.

Why would people who carry guns act any diffent? The right to carry guns is as strong a constitutional right as is freedom of speech, which is another right liberals are now destroying.

If it was up to me, I`d have madatory gun training for Kindergardners all the way through High School. Everyone has a right to use whatever means necessary to defend the only life they have, not to lay down as sheep so some psychopath can get his rocks off.

Sorry .. oh great authority on all things relating to guns.

I was reapeating what I heard on a news report. The guy did not call them “magazines” he called them “clips”.

Proposed Amendments Agreed Upon by the Anti-federal Committee of Richmond and Dispatched to New York [ca. 11 June 1788]

That there be a Declaration or Bill of Rights, asserting and securing from Encroachment the essential and unalienable Rights of the People, in some such Manner as the following.

* * *

17. That the People have a Right to keep & to bear Arms; that a well regulated Militia, composed of the Body of the People, trained to Arms, is the proper natural and safe Defence of a free State; that standing Armys in time of Peace are dangerous to Liberty, and therefore ought to be avoided, as far as the Circumstances and Protection of the Community will admit; and that in all Cases, the Military shou'd be under strict Subordination to and govern'd by the Civil Power.

Hi, Grandma! Do you know what made Budweiser?

1--2--3--(are you ready for this?):

HIS WIFE CAME HOME WITH SCHLITZ IN HER PANTS!

I know it's a groaner, but I just couldn't resist. I think I was about in the 8th grade when I first heard this--and at the time we all thought we were telling a dirty joke, since it referred to a lady's underwear--LOL!

I agree about being tried by twelve than carried by six.

The deck is stacked against the self defense shooter in a big city. Once a person is in custody there is a lot more incentive to keep them there and justify the arrest than there is to let them go and set a "bad example" for other citizens. This is the perspective of the LEO's and prosecutors. In the eyes of a cynical street cop any citizen who shoots another citizen for any reason needs to be taken out, for the future safety of his fellow street cops.

The root cause is all the drug and gang shootings, where every one involved is a criminal. A gang banger defending himself against another gang banger may meet the purely technical definition of self defense, but the street cops don't see it that way. They see that every one who pulled a gun needs to be taken out, and that extends to every other kind of shooting incident.

Gives the mall policy real teeth, doesn’t it? Not.

Anytime anyone suffers loss or damage from firearms
violence in one of these mythical “gun free zones”,
they need to sue the mall. Maybe the idiot lawyers
that suggested these crime-inviting policies will
eventually decide where the risks really lie.
