Exxon’s was up only 10%. I hope Congress hauls Microsoft in front of some committee.

Actually, Bill Gates owes money to anyone who bought a copy of Microsoft Windows ME or Microsoft Windows 2000. Both operating systems were crap.
Has Hillary called for a Microsoft tax yet?
I skipped over them and have XP Pro.
Win 95 was total crap: Win 98 was an improvement.
I think Apple’s earnings were up 80% for 1Q; Microsoft’s were up around 65%. Outstanding for both.
Go Microsoft Go!
I think the two best operating systems that Microsoft developed are Windows 2000 Professional first, then Windows XP Professional second. For modern hardware, Windows XP Professional is better due to wider hardware support.
I’m sticking with Win2000 Professional. It’s been the most stable and user friendly OS yet, by Microsoft that is. I had Win.XP Professional and removed it to put in 2000. I haven’t regretted it for a second.
Everybody I know that bought a new computer with Vista has had it taken out and XP or 2000 put in.
The next computer I build will probably have Linux in it.
And the Office2007 upgrade to those who had the previous versions was how much again?????
ME wasn't all that great but W2K pro has not let me down in three years. What do you base your claim on?
ME sucked so bad. I also agree, W2K was and still is one of the best OS’s ever made. Heck the museum I worked at still has multiple W2K boxes running.
It is not Vista, it is that they are selling XP without having to spend any money developing it further which equals almost 100% profit when they sell a copy.
Ummm, ok? That actually doesn’t make much sense. Where were these record profits before Vista then? Shouldn’t there have been surges for the past year or so since XP has been out since 2002 and they have long paid for the developement costs on it. The only corrolation to the profit surge is Vistas release.
Well actually I think that Vista’s development was a drag on earnings, in that now that the bulk of Vista development is over, they no longer have to spend the money on development.
Although that makes sense, MS has to continuously invest in research and developement, right now they are working on their next OS as we speak. They really don’t see that much of a drop off in developement costs as they are continuously in developement in a product and continously rise over time.
Lies, damned lies and statistics.
How many of those were blackmailed manufactures forced to installed the bloatware?
How many copies were sold to individuals?
