April 24, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- A disturbing video of a young boy beheading a Pakistani hostage has shocked and angered the Afghan public and international observers since it began circulating several days ago. Rights activists condemned the use of a child in the execution as "new low" -- even for an extremist group like the Taliban. In Afghanistan, it is unclear what effect the grisly video might have on militants' efforts to recruit sympathizers. more

No,, but if NBC gets their hands on it,,it’ll probably make prime time news.
“What will become of this little boy when he gets older?””
Islamic indoctrination is child abuse.
Wow, they can actually stoop low enough to even anger their own. I guess this is in a way good news.
What? A violation of child labor laws?
Al-Jazeera.......of course.......
And I’m sure it will be Pres. Bush’s fault.

It’s the censored version though. Amazingly, even ogrish.com won’t show the uncensored version.
Dont bet on it. That kind of video makes the enemy look bad and that isnt NBC's agenda.
Barbarians.
Well, when parents start cutting on little boys’ heads to celebrate a martyr, what’s going to happen later on?
Oh yeah. GW will be accused of driving the child-executioner to Islam because of the “No Child Left Behind” performance standards and lax gun, errh, machete laws and of course it is all timed to take the attention off his veto of the Iraq funding (ahem,,,Pork, Pork, Pork) bill.
My conspiracy theories pale in color and depth to those of the lost and looney left.

are you kidding me?, the taliban and nbc are allies, this tape will never be shown by the msm.of course if it was an american soldier chewing gum when he’s not supposed to then it will make front page news.
Glenn Beck was discussing this last night...
Since 9/11, Americans have become accustomed to learning about how savage our enemies are by reading about it in the paper or seeing video of a suicide bombing hours after it happens. Day after day we hear and read about beheadings and stonings and unimaginably barbaric acts, but we hardly ever see them. We’re not even allowed to see the World Trade Center collapse anymore. I could describe to you how this 12 year old boy hacked away at this man’s neck over and over as the crowd chanted “Allah Akbar;” or how he raised the man’s severed head in triumph once he hacked it off....but until you actually see it you have no idea what we’re really up against.
Unfortunately, the Real Story is that that video will never air in the United States. In fact, these pictures you see are all I’m allowed to show you of it. The media — including the network I’m on — says that showing it would just incentivize people to create more of them. Bullcrap. If that’s true, then explain to me why we would air the Virginia Tech shooter’s rambling manifesto just days after he massacred 32 people? We label that as “news” to make ourselves feel better about the ratings it’ll bring, when in fact it’s completely gratuitous and irrelevant; the event had already happened; the threat was over and the murderer was dead. Well, newsflash:
these Muslim extremists aren’t dead and their video isn’t gratuitous or irrelevant...it’s a warning. All of us, Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike have to see with our own eyes what these people are capable of doing; how far they’re willing to go.
Of course, we can continue to ignore it, just like we can ignore the Russian media calling us the enemy; or Iran getting cozy with al-Qaeda and Russia, helping terrorists in Iraq and the Taliban in Afghanistan — but ignoring them doesn’t make them go away. Unlike us, our enemies aren’t afraid to be crystal clear about their intentions...the only problem is that we continually refuse to listen.
The father of Mr Nabi, who lives in Pakistan and who confirmed that his son was the man killed in the video, said his son had been a loyal member of the Taleban.
...insert tasteless comment concerning my lack of concern for a taliban.
Why is this shocking? This is typical behavior in that area.
I can never understand why people want to look at these things.
