People do suffer from bipolar disorder, my husband was disabled with it for many years. They have irrational responses to problems. One of the main functions of our family for many years was to caretake for him.

The point I am making is if you are so irrational to use bipolar as an excuse for things, then you are not rational enough to have any responsiblity in regular society.
