No sympathy here. Sorry for the harden heart but these people kill every day in the name of Allah.....Egypt can mourn. Maybe the family will stay in Egypt.
THAT IS COLD !!.
He saved a life, the fact that he's a Muslim doesn't make him any less of a hero. I don't understand why you can't look past your prejudice and see that.
No sympathy here. Sorry for the harden heart but these people kill every day in the name of Allah.....Egypt can mourn. Maybe the family will stay in Egypt. That's a fundamentally self defeating way to think. "Those" people are not homogenous. For every Eyptian terrorist there are at least as many Nassers, people who gave their lives for peace.
I’m reading a book called “The War Against the Jews; 1933-1945”.
Europe in general, and Germany in particular, held a vision of Jews as a whole that became more and more negative as the years and decades went on. This German anti-semetism dated back to the 1700’s and grew to the point where all Jews were viewed as filthy vermin, which helps explain how a monster like Hitler could come to power and do what he did with the full support of his country.
What happened in Germany could happen again to another group of people, even here in the US, as long as there are people like you who allow hate to override their conscience.
The guy gave his life to save someone else’s. Muslim or not, he’s a good guy as far as I’m concerned. You however, should really look into your heart and think about what’s happening in it.
By considering "these people" to be the billion plus people who are nominally Muslim, discredits the many (not stating most) Muslims who are not a direct threat to this nation, and do not want war, but rather want peace. In Nigeria, nominal Christians indiscriminately attack nominal Muslims on occasions (and the other way around), and do so as "Christians" (which they could or could happen to not be). Would a Muslim therefore be justified in stating that "these people kill every day in the name of" God? No.
The levels are not the same--it is readily apparent that Muslims as a whole are more of a threat to the world than Christians as a whole, but the principle is the same.
Over a billion people cannot or should not be so thoroughly tarnished by the actions of a few of their members.
Whoa. If there is ever a holocaust against innocent Muslim people here we can name you as one of the founding members fo the death squads. You’ve become as nutty as the enemy.
That’s cold and inhuman. Not every Muslim kills in the name of Allah and in fact they despise the fanatics as much as anyone else does. We need more Muslims like this kid to win the war on terror.
Wow. I understand how some might doubt whether or not the movement was intentional, but your post doesn't do that. It outs you as someone totally devoid of critical thinking skills and filled with prejudice. How embarrassing for you.
What an attitude. How would you feel if it were your child that he’d saved? (Considerably different, I’d say.)
So you hate all Muslims? Even the ones we're fighting to protect in Iraq? Even the ones in Iraq who voted for the first time because our soldiers fought to give them that right? Our troops are fighting and dying so Muslims in Iraq can have freedom. Our troops don't hate all Muslims. But you do?
Nice to see that there are Freepers who are hell bent to confirm every stereotype about conservatives as knuckle dragging hateful morons. Why don't you just snidely suggest that the only reason he took the bullets was that he was late to his favorite pastime of raping a goat, and thus happened to be close by.
GOD ALMIGHTY, the stupidity and incivility is only matched by the hatred sometimes.
You are an idiot!
God, you’re an a**hole.
I hope you don’t consider yourself a Christian.
So it is ok if I blame you for the actions of others from a similiar background?
Apparently you are clueless as to the fact that hundreds of thousands of moslems are fighting alongside our soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan.
