The al-Qaeda-linked Muslim Abu Sayyaf rebels have decapitated seven hostages and sent their heads to the army in Jolo, in the southern Philippines archipelago of Sulu, the local press said on Friday quoting the military. The severed heads of six road project workers and one factory worker were delivered to two army outposts in Parang town on Jolo island, 1,000 kilometres south of Manila, Thursday.
The victims, all Christians, were working on a government road construction project in the city of Parang, Jolo, when they were abducted Tuesday by rebels led by commander Albader Parad. The Philiippine army said on Friday it will intensify its efforts to wipe out Abu Sayyaf.
Two were reportedly teenagers, aged 16 and 17, who were working to pay for their college education and help their impoverished parents in nearby Zamboanga City.
Militants had asked a ransom of 5 million pesos, approximately 105,000 dollars for them.
The beheading of prisoners has been a practice consistently used by Abu Sayyaf, set up in the early 1990s with funding traced back to al-Qaeda.

The only way to deal with them is to do the same, but especially TAKE NO PRISONERS. These are mad dogs, with no hope of ever being “cured”, if they can shoot Ol’ Yeller, they cna certainly rid the world of these maggots.
I mean, it’s not as if one day Habib al-Jihadi is going to wake up and say “Man, WHAT was I THINKING! Those guys are TOTALLY right, it’s the differences in all of us that make life interesting...”
No chance, their religion preaches dominance over all others, and requires that people become followers or worm meat.

On February 3 2006 , a group of Muslims gathered outside the Danish Embassy in Sloane Square, Chelsea. They were there to protest against the illustrations of Mohammed which had first appeared in the Jyllands-Posten newspaper on September 30 last year.
Individuals, many with faces covered, screamed abuse and called for violence against those who insulted Islam. They bore placards emblazoned with the slogans: “Behead those who insult Islam”, “Europe. Take some lessons from 9/11, “Europe you will pay. Demolition is on its way”, “Europe you will pay. Your extermination is on its way,” “Slay those who insult Islam,” “Butcher those who insult Islam.”

Why aren’t these road workers armed ?
Probably the Aussies. Most of their leaders seem to have their heads on straight.
The only way to face them down is to ban the practice of Islam and deport all who continue to follow it. That will have to occur in a country where that strange political/economic doctrine (which glorifies death over life) is incompatible with the laws of a nation which supports the right to equal justice under the law and the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Thumbing through my Atlas, I can only find one country in the world that meets the criteria and has the resources for resolving the problem without bloodshed.
