Goebbles was right about the “Big Lie”. Say it often enough and it will be believed as fact.

No surprise since the media has been trying to scare the wits out of everyone since the November elections. I'm surprised this number isn't higher, frankly - there are still a majority of sane individuals out there.
The liberal media has been feeling their oats since the November elections. They feel like they still have some power to propagandize the masses into falling for liberal claptrap like global warming, and they probably do.

I shudder to think of the boatload of stupid, annoying, and costly legislation we’re going to end up with due to this BS. And a hundred years from now, when we all KNOW it was BS, we’ll still be unable to repeal those laws.

Seven out of 10 of those surveyed want the federal government to do more to combat climate change and "by a 40-point margin, the public trusts congressional Democrats more than it trusts President Bush to handle global warming," writes the WPost.Of course, when all most Americans hear are global warming alarmism from the press and how only the Congress can take action, what do you expect.
An interesting comment in the post was the link to Al Gore:
Two of the newsier things CNN says former president Bill Clinton tells Larry King tonight at 9 p.m. ET, during their prerecorded interview:
The Democrats running for president "are gifted people and they deserve to be seriously listened to," and "you have got the prospect that vice president Gore might run.

Rather than a pronouncement of the level of enlightenment of American citizens, this is an indication of their gullibility and stupidity.

global warming ranks as the world's single largest environmental
problem How did the word "environmental" get in there? I thought global warming was the biggest problem of them all...bigger than terrorism, abortion, crime, etc.
Time needs to fire this blogger, pronto. He is obviously a "denier".

Two-thirds of Americans believe there are bigger environmental problems than global warming.
That’s after nearly two years of wall-to-wall prophecies of rising sea-levels, dying species and an all-out apocalypse caused by... global warming.
Two-thirds of Americans believe we have bigger problems than the Leninists’ fake apocalypse.
Are you listening, Al Gore?

My family loves the holiday of earth day. We go to a fast food place that sells beef farmed from the rain forests, that still puts their stuff in styrofoam containers, then we throw everything out the window of our gas guzzling car when we are done over eating....such memories.

All those for the Federal government legislating laws to prevent climate change should identify themselves as such to the IRS and make their income available for additional payroll deductions to buy Carbon Offsets, and invest in wind powered turbines. They should pay three times what they do at the pump to “save the planet” and they should pay more for meat, air travel, etc. They should put their wallet where their mouth is. The government should have a voluntary program and anyone who wants can join, let's see what percentage does.
