A YACHT has been found drifting off the north Queensland coast with computers running and even food on a table ready to eat - but no crew.
Police said the men, aged 56, 63 and 69, were believed to have left Airlie Beach on Sunday for Western Australia.

Can we get the coordinates? I have a list of representatives I want to send on a cruise ASAP...
It looks as though another vessel had pulled along side the Ghost Ship. There are three fenders hanging on the port side. Apart from the torn sail, the ship looks well maintained and properly buttoned down... meaning the crew are good sailors. A good sailor never leaves port with his fenders dangling. Another ship was at her side. Pirates?
As for the torn sail.. it could only last so long in an untrimmed position. When another vessel pulls alongside, the sails are slacked to reduce forward motion.
Probably pirates.
Probably kidnapped by muzzie pirates. Look for ransom demands in the near future.
AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!
Slight problem with that is it's a good 2,000-3,000 miles from any Muslim Pirates.
I’m no expert on sailing, but a question comes to mind: is it possible that a rogue wave could have knocked all three of them off the deck? Or would it be impossible for the yacht’s electronics to continue to function so well after such a calamity?
IT WAS A GIANT SQUID I TELL YOU!!!
YEP...Pirates.....and gee...WHO are the pirates of the seas?
You know where ALL the muzzie pirates are in the world?
AH!...A true mystery...I can find a few democrats we can send on the same course....
Such a wave would probably have left the boat in worse condidtion i.e. things scattered around.
Who are the people on FR who have lost control of all reason and fact?
1) Read up on piracy and where they're located in the Pacific.
2) Read the story and note where the boat was found.
3) Consult map and examine distance from areas with piracy to Australian territorial waters.
4) Review the likelyhood of your assertion.
Astute observations. However, whoever boarded the ghost ship slacked the sails and put the fenders out? I doubt it, at least as far as the fenders go, but it would be nice to know if this picture was taken before or after the ship was boarded.
I have actually read actual journal articles about piracy, I suspect you have not.
I bet you couldn't put your finger on where this boat was found on a map with a gun held to your head.
BTW, neither of the nearest foreign countries to where this boat was found (Solomons and Papua New Guinea) have any Muslims at all.
Would you like them listed alphabetically or by sign-up date?
Because this may take a while.
Anything’s possible, on the water. More common explanations include the possibility that one or more of the crew went overboard, and the remaining went-over to save them, or the three went swimming, and the boat sailed/drifted away on its own.
