Contact GOP In Congress Regarding Harry Reid Treasonous Statement
April 19 2007 | jveritas

Posted on 04/19/2007 6:52:34 PM PDT by jveritas

Dear fellow freepers

For over four years the democrats and their media have been working very hard on defeating us in the war on terror and they have been providing aid and comfort to our enemies in each opportunity they can. However today Harry Reid the leader of the democrats in the US Senate said “The War In Iraq Is Lost” and by doing so he brought the giving of aid and comfort to the enemy to a total new level.

We should not waste our times calling a traitor like Harry Reid or his cohorts in the democrat party, those people are lost, we need to urge the Republicans in Congress and some of the very few and patriotic democrats to stand up for the fight of their life. Stand up for our troops, stand up for the nation. Stand up for victory in the war so we can preserve our freedom and our way of life.

We need to send them thousand and tens of thousands of e-mails, call their offices, and ask them to stand up to treason in Congress and say “Enough is Enough treason will not stand, defeat will not stand, we will fight this war and we will win this war”.

I know that many on this forum think that many Republicans in Congress are afraid to take this stand, but I strongly disagree. The vast majority of Republicans in Congress and few good democrats will stand up and fight, however they need our support and encouragement.

Each one of us should compose a brief and concise e-mail asking the many good patriots in Congress to stand up for the traitors and those who are providing aid and comfort to the enemy. Send the e-mail to as many Republicans and “good democrats” Congress people as you. I will compose mine and send it tomorrow.

God bless our troops. God bless the Great patriots in the nation and Congress. God bless President Bush.

God bless America.

Here is my email sent to Mr. Reid:

Sir, I am very disappointed in your recent statement regarding our efforts in Iraq, which gave aid and comfort to our enemy at a time when American men and women risk all to bring order to that country, and defend America from our common enemy.

There is no good for America or American troops which can come from such statements. Any man who loses his nerve over a few bombings of civilians in another country is not worthy to act as a leader of America.

I call on you to apologize, quickly, abjectly, completely and without equivocation.

Otherwise, prepare to face a wrath that will overwhelm your petty attempts to win a cheap political advantage by betraying American service personnel.

Your claim that America has been defeated is disgusting, mistaken, undignified, and cowardly. Declare yourself to have misspoken, to have temporarily lost your senses, or to have been under the influence of drugs. Declare any of this rather than leave us with the otherwise inescapable conclusion that you are a traitor to your country.

America has never fought unjust wars my FRiend and this war is certainly a very just war and very crucial war for our freedom and our way of life.

Harry Reid and the vast majority of democrats and their media are giving aid and comfort to the enemy and emboldening them with their defeatist speeches, through their actions by tying the hand of our Commander in Chief and our troops, and by calling for surrender to the enemy. I know that you know this very well.

i wrote my senator and chose the “crime” option as the subject and told him he didnt have a “treason” option, and that i wanted to report an act of treason.

"they have been providing aid and comfort to our enemies in each opportunity they can."

If your claim is true, why have there been no charges filed? Seriously, The claims of treason either CAN or CANNOT be verified, and if there has indeed been treasonous acts.......... the traitors MUST be brought to trial! However, absent indictment by a grand jury.............. the claim of treason CANNOT be justified. Assemble your forces and bring the charges, it will destroy the democratic party if you can prevail............. can you?

Thank you for the list. I will make sure that I will send the same e-mail to the Senators you listed. Plus I am sending it to some more, including Senator McCain and Senator Lieberman and some House Representatives as well.

Do you have any doubt that the defeatist statements of the democrats and their actions on a daily basis to undermine the war is not providing aid and comfort to the enemy? Of course it is. We are living in a culture where unfortunately aid and comfort to the enemy is called "freedom of speech". Action like this will be called treason in different time of the history of this great nation and the traitors would have been severely punished.

The worst consequence of the Vietnam war is that it has legitimized treason under the pretext of "freedom of speech".

Post of the month! We might as well get used to this. I am afraid the Republicans will be in the minority for a very long time!

Some on our side have lost any hope and that is frustrating as well. The majority of us will keep fighting.

It does not matter what I believe.......a court of law is necessary to determine the accuracy of your claim.

WHY have there been no indictments???
