Contact GOP In Congress Regarding Harry Reid Treasonous Statement
April 19 2007 | jveritas

Posted on 04/19/2007 6:52:34 PM PDT by jveritas

Dear fellow freepers

For over four years the democrats and their media have been working very hard on defeating us in the war on terror and they have been providing aid and comfort to our enemies in each opportunity they can. However today Harry Reid the leader of the democrats in the US Senate said “The War In Iraq Is Lost” and by doing so he brought the giving of aid and comfort to the enemy to a total new level.

We should not waste our times calling a traitor like Harry Reid or his cohorts in the democrat party, those people are lost, we need to urge the Republicans in Congress and some of the very few and patriotic democrats to stand up for the fight of their life. Stand up for our troops, stand up for the nation. Stand up for victory in the war so we can preserve our freedom and our way of life.

We need to send them thousand and tens of thousands of e-mails, call their offices, and ask them to stand up to treason in Congress and say “Enough is Enough treason will not stand, defeat will not stand, we will fight this war and we will win this war”.

I know that many on this forum think that many Republicans in Congress are afraid to take this stand, but I strongly disagree. The vast majority of Republicans in Congress and few good democrats will stand up and fight, however they need our support and encouragement.

Each one of us should compose a brief and concise e-mail asking the many good patriots in Congress to stand up for the traitors and those who are providing aid and comfort to the enemy. Send the e-mail to as many Republicans and “good democrats” Congress people as you. I will compose mine and send it tomorrow.

God bless our troops. God bless the Great patriots in the nation and Congress. God bless President Bush.

God bless America.

Harry and my worthless senators (Brown and Voinovich) will hear from me tomorrow!

If these senators had even half the political courage and integrity of our president, we’d have pacified Iraq a year or two ago!!

Do you think he said this because he fears it is working?

Won’t do any good.

The Republican symbol should be changed from the elephant to the ameoba. The Republicans have no spine, no balls, and no guts.

They have let the Democrats kick them around like footballs for the last 7 years at least.

Take the firing of the Federal Attornies for example.

President Bush should have told the Democrats to begin with that they serve at my pleasure and if I so choose I will fire everyone of them. If you [Democrats] and the media don’t like it you can go straight to hell.

But that will never happen. As it is the Democrats have never liked the Republicans and now they don’t even respect them.

Come guys. In the name of the Lord stop it. The vast majority of Republicans in Congress are great American Patriots who are working very hard to make us win this war and there are few good democrats as well doing the same.

The negativism on this forum by some is so poisonous and so unproductive.

The worst nightmare for these traitors is that the Surge is Working. A victory for America is a great defeat for them.

I already sent a note to that treasonous bastard Reid and one to McConnell, as well. I always write to Sen. McConnell since, as a California Republican, I do not have competent representation in the Senate.

”“The War In Iraq Is Lost” and by doing so he brought the giving of aid and comfort to the enemy to a total new level.”

Your understanding of the balance of free speech and treason is out of balance. The right to speak against a war should always triumph over its potential to adversely influence the war. The alternative is either a slippery slope into a police state in which criticism of a truly unjust war is punishable by treason charges or to give the judiciary the power to judge what war can be criticized under what circumstances.

Either way, today is not the day to slam Reid for this. He picked this date, after a couple of al-Qaeda successes. Let’s hold our powder until we have a good week or two, and then hit Reid from 80 different directions with those words again. Shock and Awe!

Well, instead of complaining about them, take action. Send them letters and e-mails, and call them. It only takes a moment of your time, and will show them that we want them to get off their a**es and do something.

Sorry, but when last seen the Republicans were all cowering in the tall grass. You won’t hear a peep out of them...
