I've fed raw for 9 years now. There is a lot of breeders on our Natural Cockers list weining their new puppies right onto raw as well.... I think the hardest thing to adjust to was once they have no grains, they are so much calmer.

I used to think something was wrong with Daisy (fed raw from 12 weeks) because she was unlike any puppy I'd ever had before -- very calm... all three of my cockers are like that and the groomer always comments how much easier they are to groom than most of the other cockers she grooms.

Before raw, I home-cooked.

I have two cockers and they’re both overweight. What do you mean by ‘raw’? And where do you get it?

Would you happen to have any thoughts on how to transition a 12 year old beagle and 11 year old border collie mix from dry food to something more safe and suitable?
