The gentleman that collapsed had lost his only daughter. Just saw the President and his wife on TV talking about it. The President said they saw him later and he was “somewhat revived” but that nothing could sooth his loss or words to that effect.

My God. Words can not help; only time will help lessen the pain.

Just a little while ago on CBS. They’re doing an hour long report. Right now they’re talking about some of the folks that helped others get away from the shooter.

The only bad thing about is that perky Katie is the lead reporter.

I’m trying not to pay too close attention, this tragedy hits just a little close to home in that I have a son headed for college and knowing that this could happen again anywhere.

It is much better on the second viewing. Like many others, some of us are having a tough time of grasping the whole thing, so a second time through is a good thing. As I mentioned elsewhere, the spontaneous recitation of the Lords prayer happens on that clip at almost exactly 51 minutes.

My husband and I were quite lifted up by that.
