Thank you snugs. I think that’s perfect -— it captures the sentiment of the day, even though there are a whole lot of photos I liked better.

Thank you for the DOSE tonight Justa.

The whole time Pres. Bush is in Virginia with the families..and giving that wonderful speech.

The Dems in the Senate, like ole Robert Byrd, are calling him a liar about the war..and Reid is calling Cheney a liar and says no one even believes what they say anymore..or care...

A real classy group of people.

Thanks for the Dose tonight, it was a wonderful reflection on a very sad day.
I want to add my two cents on the Bush divorce thing. Forget about it, this story ran in the National Enquirer in 2004, (could have been 2005). The National Enquirer is run by Clintonistas. SevenofNine is exactly correct this is a planted story every few years that the Clinton’s think it will eventually be seen by enough people that it will be believed to be true. Forget it!

***The apparently spontaneous recitation of the “Lord’s Prayer” is a highlight, also.*** CD, I didn’t know about that. Who recited the Lord’s Prayer, and did it involve the student body at all? Thanks for telling us about it.

There was a pause after the playing of "Amazing Grace" and someone with a loud voice starts it and the audience picks it up.

“I am assuming that the hand belongs to a family member of one of the students/faculty.”

The gentleman that collapsed had lost his only daughter. Just saw the President and his wife on TV talking about it. The President said they saw him later and he was “somewhat revived” but that nothing could sooth his loss or words to that effect.

That’s the way it looks to me. The hand belongs to the one whom the President is comforting.

Oh my...I’m in tears just reading your account of the service. Thank you for the link. I’ll try to watch it later.

I urge everyone to watch it. It was better the second time when I knew what to listen for. And it was directed mainly at the students; telling them that as a community they can overcome and work their way through this tragedy.
