today in Blacksburg, Virginia.
A Proclamation by the President of the United States of America
Honoring the Victims of the Tragedy at Virginia Tech
Mrs. Cheney's Remarks at a Special Naturalization Ceremony
Yes he was.
Indeed a treat and I love the colour of her suit.
She seems to be moving toward insanity, and she makes Imus seem like a sweetheart........ya know what I mean? LOL!
Followed by remarks on the President’s leadership and how one of the hallmarks of a leader is comfort and consolation in hard times, and President Bush embraces those qualities.
A most excellent speech, not political.
I may be wrong, but I think it's the Globe that started all the divorce stories. I haven't seen one one the cover of the Enquirer yet. Maybe I just haven't noticed, but I sure have seen more than one or two in the Globe.
It’s obvious to me, snugs. There is only one place that this kind of hatred can be coming from.
Huh uh..... ;*)
THANK YOU for posting the DOSE this evening — your ‘quote’ and ‘photo’ of the day selections are absolutely PERFECT! Additionally, the photos of the President and his First Lady returning to the White House are worthy of inclusion in the next jlypsio video!!
You will find most of the photos (and some new ones) all on one page here:

DEMS BOOST BUSH’S SAGGING APPROVAL RATINGS
April 17, 2007
The pundits seem to agree: George W. Bush is toast, kaput. So how come the president’s holding steady, even rising, in the polls? And what does that mean for 2008?
Let’s consider the weight of the punditical pile-on: Joe Klein, writing in Time magazine, sees “An Epic Collapse” - specifically, the Iraq war, the Walter Reed hospital mess, the flap over the fired U.S. attorneys. Concludes Klein: “It is increasingly difficult to imagine yet another two years of slow bleed with a leader so clearly unfit to lead.”
David Ignatius, writing in The Washington Post, opines, “Simply put, the White House is losing its ability to shape events.” And Georgie Anne Geyer, appearing in The Chicago Tribune, gets personal: “George W. is the man who isn’t there this spring in Washington. ... It is becoming increasingly clear that no one pays attention to the Texan with the destructive ambitions anymore . . .”
So here’s a question: If Bush is falling apart so dramatically that he is in danger of simply vanishing, how come he’s hanging in there in the polls?

[FYI: If you had the misfortune of reading the recent ABCNews/WashPost poll, just know that they purposely OVERSAMPLED AFRICAN-AMERICANS (for Imus questions) which skewed the sample even more to the LEFT than usual — BOGUS, BOGUS, BOGUS. // Rasmussen puts the President’s JA rating at 40% today!]

SCHOOL MASSACRES (a US history):

***It looked like almost all of the student body was reciting it......and it seemed entirely spontaneous.***
WOW! There IS hope for this country.
I don't know...I think she and David Gregory are in a dead heat on that one!
The President's didn't surprise me, but the Governor's did.
The young man and HIS family were escorted out of the arena.
Absolutely whatever he did he cannot win
No hurry snugs. I’m not going anywhere. ;o)
Lol at least people can figure out what you mean though. Sometimes I’m a little communication plagued. ;)
Oh my...I’m in tears just reading your account of the service. Thank you for the link. I’ll try to watch it later.
Indeed.......there IS hope.
