Bill Clinton Ready to Serve Hillary

Bill Clinton says he's ready to serve should his wife become president.
"People ask me all the time what I would do if Hillary was elected president, and I say - I tell the truth - I'll do whatever I'm asked to," the former president said during a speech at Claremont McKenna College in Southern California Sunday.
Clinton noted, however, he wouldn't be able to serve as a Cabinet member in another Clinton administration because of rules barring presidents' immediate family members from getting such posts.
"You should never have any doubt that the president can fire anybody that's in the cabinet," Clinton explained. "Now I know Hillary would have no problem firing me, but I'm not sure other people would."
During the 45-minute speech to a crowd of more than 2,000, Clinton also touched on global warming, national security, radio personality Don Imus and even pop star Britney Spears.
Clinton said Imus' recent remarks about the Rutgers University women's basketball team were "racist and sexist," and a "sad commentary on popular culture that values put-downs and personal attacks and division over unity, and breaking over building."
Imus was fired by CBS last week for calling the players "nappy headed hos."
Clinton also expressed empathy for Spears, who spent nearly a month in rehab after a string of bizarre behavior that included shaving her head bald.
"A lot of people have trouble when they're in their 20s and they're instantly famous, and they have all these pressures going on," he said. "She should be allowed to go through it by herself."
