I think the “receipt in the backback” angle is a little too cute.

Yes, my thought exactly. Sure I keep receipts for over 2 weeks in my backpack. Just want to make sure I can exchange the gun later for something that fits./Sarcasm!

I agree, but they also failed to point out his recent purchase for “Deadly Accuracy with a Pistol on only one month” at WAL-MART.

I think the receipt in the backback angle is a little too cute. Who the hell carries around purchase receipts in a backpack?
Crazy people. And crazy people kill other people, too. Maybe I just answered my own question.
Still . . .

I carry around tons of reciepts, shoved into backpacks, purses, etc.
There seems to be such a desire to have this be terrorism or something other than a crazy guy upset his girl was with another guy.
Reminds me a little of the global warming folks just salivating over the prospect of a 20’ ocean rise.
Maybe it’s more than a lone gunman, but maybe not.

I don’t see having a receipt in the backpack as unusual. Some of you are probably better organized than me but I have found old receipts in pockets and and between a text book where I used it as a bookmarker and forgot it. And he obviously does not think like most people.

I find it curious that some networks are saying the shooter's first name is Cho, while other networks are saying Cho is the last name -- which is it?
The receipt in the backpack gives rise to another question -- can you purchase a gun with the serial numbers already removed and if so, why would you want a receipt?

Evidence like that shows up all the time. Like the Vince Foster suicide note that everyone knows he didn’t write...
