As one whose kid is on a college campus this AM, my heart goes out to parent’s who are hearing this news.
Hope they catch the perp soon!

The two people shot in Augus\t had nothing to do with the school. One report had that killer in a university building but later shown he never came on campus. Was not a student and no university people were hurt.

BLACKSBURG, Va. - A shooting at a Virginia Tech dorm Monday left one person dead and one wounded, a state government official with knowledge of the case told The Associated Press.
The state university posted an advisory on its Web site advising students that a shooting had occurred at a residence hall and a “gunman is loose on the campus.” The university also told students to stay in their homes away from windows.

That’s what FOX was reporting...
And as one who worked on a college campus for a long time, my prayers go out to all the clerks, faculty, and other staff as well...and for the kids frightened out of their gourds, and who may have seen something that will trouble them a long time. And for the security people.
