All the worst mass murders happen in gun free zones - all the school shootings that were stopped quickly were in areas that allowed the armed citizen to intervene.
I live about a mile from one of those schools (in NJ), and I was thinking the same thing. BTW, the plans for this elementary school were found in a cave in Afghanistan AND in the office of one of Saddam’s henchmen. So much for there being no connection between Saddam and al-Qaida.
If he was looking for his girlfriend - he probably wasn’t a student - because he didn’t KNOW where to find her - wonder if he ever did find her...

That’s what I wonder...why shoot up an entire classroom if the vendetta was against the girlfriend? Why not the dorm where the girl’s friends may have been?

I also apologize if my remarks on the President of the College being injured/killed weren’t accurate. It’s just what I heard on MSNBC earlier; perhaps he wasn’t targeted.
Good advice. While lockdowns are necessary, the best advice is to get the heck out there. Those students are probably still alive.

MSNBC is reporting that the gunman killed himself and that the gunman was carrying two nine-millimeter handguns. ATF is attempting to trace.

Yes— the university is 15,000 students and since 2001 there have been 0 murders, 0 manslaughter crimes, 0 sexual assault, 7 burglaries (all cars).
Not everybody who looks oriental is from the coastal populations where they are by and large small people. Worked with a bunch of Chinese basketball playing students doing an exchange program once...all were like 6 ft and taller.

Yea, it's getting to the point where no place is safe anymore except gun ranges that have high powered rifle and auto weapon sections that are frequented by evil SUV drivers.

Just ONE, that’s right, JUST ONE BRAVE, ARMED STUDENT, with a legal personal carry permit could have ended this and saved countless lives....
I don’t buy it either. I was on FR earlier and just heard the death toll was up to 22. I’m in shock. It’s far worse than I ever imagined from the earliest posts on FR.
