Gunman on Campus; Stay inside your building, away from windows; Shooting incident at West Ambler Johnston Hall

i believe i said he shouldn’t be allowed to. i just am not willing to go gung ho on any law that is fresh after an emotional incident. it always creates problems for basic fundamental rights. for instance, because everything was legal (if it was legal anyway), tacked onto a bill changing a law allowing a foreign national to buy a gun will probably be more restrictions on LEGAL gun owners. instead of the illegal gun owners that pose a more serious threat.
does anyone recall what happend after colmubine? it’s been so long i cannot remember off hand, but i do remember a lot of gun control advocacy after the incident and am pretty sure a lot of state laws were changed restricting guns further. am i wrong?
LOL! I’m completely dense when it comes to some things. This being one of them. I saw the messages in mail but didn’t know how to reply in kind. I figured out how to reply to messages on the board and work the “new posts to you” thingy, so I get a star for that :) I’ll check it out more. I did read all I could here before making my first post. Still not sure about the mail function so it’s still mud to me. Thank you :)
Also, you’d probably be SHOCKED to know the numbers of FREEPERS—especially well known FREEPERS who more or less wholesale agree with me. They just don’t want to put up with the ignorant ridicule so they keep pretty quiet about their convictions.
All right...I have been up for almost 24 hours...I am starting to get silly.
Exactly; if this guy was a novice he’d have used a shot gun.... he used the most bang for his buck... and did it with precision and cool.... I do not me that in any way out of respect but to make clear that he is/was a terrorist.
It's illegal for Baffoe-Bonnie to possess firearms because he was in the U.S. on a student visa.
So, if it is illegal to possess guns while in the US on a student visa how can it be legal to buy guns while in the US on a student visa?
Drudge is saying the posting “I am not the shooter” is an internet hoax.
LOL!
They just showed a picture of Ryan Clark on the DC abc channel 7 news here. He was a member of the marching band. He must be the only confirmed released name...
Thanks for posting the live link Dave. I saw your post earlier and have been watching all day.

......
Wow.
Thanks.
Mohammed Ciabatta. Guess what I thought when I saw that?
Remember Adnan, the one who was in Canada that used an Italian name? The terrorist no one has found yet.
When I was in college, I was kind of anti-gun...when my buddy showed me his 357 magnum from Alaska...I sort of freaked...
of course, after the LA Riots I quickly changed my tune and bought a Glock 22
If an American went over there and did this on the campus of Tsinghua University or some other place in the PRC, you can bet there would be some heads that rolled in the Japanese Foreign Ministry and/or other agencies involved in the bureaucratic process of approving him for residence in the PRC.
= = =
You sure got that right.
Even their family members would have trouble getting jobs.
Also, in response to another poster, it is quite possible that if this perp had a Green Card, and had only been in the USA since August, that he was issued the Green Card OVERSEAS at one of our US Embassies/Consulates, after a long period of processing, so it does not necessarily follow that the Green Card he may have had was "fake".
No supreme intellect...I’m married to a Marine.
A student visa is not the same as permanent residency, is it?
Gee Matt, thanks for elaborating.
I'll ask my usual question of those in your camp: Do you believe 9/11 was an inside job?
