just wait, more complaints about dangerous guns, and banning weapons coming real soon.
I’m starting to wonder myself why they can’t ID this guy. If he was the boyfriend of the first girl to be shot you’d think getting his ID would be a breeze.
confusion in reporting is inexcusable. More lives were lost because nobody appeared to set up an adequate chain of command for information or security after the first shootings.
Can you elaborate a bit?
Those are those stupid Airsoft guns.
I wish your fellow Hokies prayers, as well.
Nodding. When I was in school, cell phones and email were rare.
Not very many first-hand witnesses to the shootings are in any condition to talk about it, and three of the four who were able to get out of the classroom where most of the deaths occurred, have talked to the press (Trey Perkins, Derek O’Dellon, and Erin Sheehan) — all the others were dead or too severely injured to get themselves out. Apparently most of the deaths and severe injuries, other than the two in the first shooting, occurred in a single classroom where a German class was in progress. And 7:15AM in a dorm room wasn’t exactly a high visibility location either.
There may have one other classroom with multiple fatalities, but I have no trouble seeing how students who were trapped in a situation like that wouldn’t feel like talking to strangers about it just yet. And the settings were such that there were few if any witnesses to actual shootings who weren’t trapped in a room while the shooting was going on. Most first hand accounts are just reports of seeing students running out of buildings, seeing armed LEOs, etc.
A lot of first hand student accounts (including some of the actual shootings) are compiled here, along with a second hand account by a young man whose girlfriend was shot.

If true, he brought his small stuff.....
Just maybe, if that guy with the cell phone camera instead had a gun some lives may have been saved.
God deliver us from evil, in the meantime, let us protect ourselves from same.
You’re right. They stated at the press conference not to rule out 2 separate incidents. If so, we should be given a description of the dorm shooting suspect who may have got away. Shouldn’t we have that information by now?
“Those are those stupid Airsoft guns.”
Yep. You are probably going to have to keep repeating that however.
I have to agree with your point. I watched the NBC newscast tonight and they played a conversation with a gal who said the shooter was arguing with his “girlfriend” and then shot said girlfriend and the R.A. who was trying to intercede. If this were so, it’d be quite obvious who the shooter was, but in the meantime, the Police Chief says they still aren’t confirming it was a domestic dispute so...... back to the mystery.
With all the technology and so forth, it still seems amazing that there is so much “confusion.”
Supposedly another presser coming up at 7:30 Eastern.
If this was the case, during those two hours, why did they assume the shooter had left the campus? During the news conference one of those interviewed said they assumed the suspect had left the campus after the initial shooting. Do you know why they would assume this?
What’s an airsoft gun?
The Students gave in to the murderers demands and were executed anyway?
That's a hard lesson not being taught in college.
I apologize. I can’t. From all accounts it is just a rumor. That’s all the information I got. Could be a flying load of crap. Just thought i’d post it just in case.
