Two men were knocked unconscious this weekend during an assault at the Waffle House on Richland Avenue after being hit in the head repeatedly with a chair, police said.
Investigators are aggressively working the case, interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance videotape, said Aiken Public Safety spokesman Lt. David Turno.
"We are looking at a number of felony charges that would apply," he said. "There were several victims assaulted, two so severely that they were bleeding profusely."

There is an obvious double standard in so many of these cases. Perhaps it is based on the very prejudiced belief that such behavior is to be assumed from some segments of our society.
This is the exact reason I only go to IHOP.

“He said he was at the restaurant when one of the victims, who he described only as a white male, picked up a $20 bill off of the floor.
He said a black female inside the restaurant said she had lost her $20 bill, and the white male told her that he had found the money and held it out.
Two men, who were the main suspects of the fight, snatched it out of his hands and gave it to the woman, he said.
The woman then started screaming, “that white boy stole her $20,” the witness said.
She made a big scene, he told police.”
so, the guy found the $20 that the black female “supposedly” lost, he gave it back and got beat up for his effort..yup, sharpton and jackson will be on this one in a hurry..I’m runnin to CNN to anxiously await the press conference..how long do ya think I’ll have to wait??
Sounds like a set-up from the git-go. Drop a $20 bill on the floor and then beat the tar out of the first person who picks it up.
I used to work the night shift often and got off at about 1:30. I would always hit the Denny’s by my house about 2:15 AM, just after the bars all closed at 2:00. The thing you always had to remember is that about 2/3rds of the customers in the restaurant at that hour were drunk as skunks, even though Denny’s does not serve alcohol.
I know that if I am very very evil in this life, I will come back in the next as a Denny’s waitress in a restaurant where it is perpetually 2:30 AM.

This is a very wierd story. There must be more to it than the witness said.
She said “that white boy...”. She could have said “he”, “that boy”, “that man”, but she didn’t. What does that show you.
Lets just address crime as crime and leave off the word “hate”.
Hate is an emotion. Democrats HATE BUSH. They should control their emotions because that hatred alone is enough to set the standards of leading by example.
The Democrats also hate Christians, Jews, Catholics, Protestants, gun owners, people who make money in business, ethanol producers. Democrats hate white people, Republicans, rich people, conservative talk show hosts, military, Immigration agents etc.
The culture of hate begins with Democrats leading by example.
The police should aggressively follow up on this case, just as they should every case. Assault is assault. The motivation of the person who assaults should not be a primary concern.
As for the Revrens Jaaaaaahckson and Sharpton, they are jerks who can not add anything useful to any situation.
Worse yet,I know that if I am very very evil in this life, I will come back in the next as a Denny’s CUSTOMER !!!

The first thing we need to do is quit referring to these charlatans as "Rev.". Al Sharpton was "ordained" as a minister at age 10 in Washington, DC. He dropped out of college after one year and has never had a church. Jesse did graduate from an agricultural-military college, but dropped out of Chicago Theological Seminary without earning a degree. As far as I can determine, his "Rev." title may well have been earned by mailing in a Wheaties boxtop. He, too, has never had a church.
As to ever getting an apology, even when their accusations are a complete hoax (e.g., Tawana Brawley, the Duke Case) and proven false, forget it. Neither charlatan ever feels they owe anyone an apology. Both men are where they are because they are professional pot-stirrers, knowing that if they can't keep the race-baiting, "I'm-a-victim" hoax alive, they're out of business.
Contrast their positions with those held by Bill Cosby and you'll begin to understand what really motivates those two.
